Sunday morning words of gratitude

It's been a fun and productive week. Not without it's challenges and moments of stress, but that's life isn't it? Some days are better than others, but overall, life is a beautiful experience and on this lovely Sunday morning I'd like to share some thoughts of gratitude for being part of it; mostly for myself, but perhaps you will find something to be grateful for too.

Being able to enjoy moments of contemplation

This is my garden. I live downtown, so it's impossible for me to have an outdoors garden, or a zen garden, imagine that!

But this one suits me just fine. On Sundays I like to water the plants, maybe put on some relaxing music and incense or palo santo. I like to pick out mealy bugs if I find any and I also pick up dead leaves. I find this activity to be very relaxing and puts me in contemplative state. I'll look for new budding leaves and measure the growth of a particular plant. But mostly I'll enjoy being in the moment, away from cell phones or computers and away from work, stress or problems.

I've noticed many of my peers don't do this. Many spend their days complaining about work, money, marriage, politics and other things. Many of them are in a perpetual state of urgency hopping from call to text message to email. I often wonder if some people are unable to find moments of being in a meditative state or if they simply choose not to look for them. Whatever the case may be, today I'd like to express gratitude for being willing and able to find moments to be alone with my thoughts. They are a great source of wellbeing for me.

Grateful for the love of my family.

This is @pamarias, our dog Compadre and I. We're a small family, but we are incredibly close. We are emotionally and professionally supportive and are always trying to find ways to become better versions of ourselves. I'm incredibly grateful to have the love of these beings in my life.

Grateful for my sources of income

A few years ago, six to be exact, I decided to stop having a "job' per se, and decided to start a business. It's a production agency specialized in audio called @recording-box. I started it on my own in 2018 and made it through the 2020 Covid pandemic. What a ride! 😄

In any case, I am incredibly grateful for having my business as a stream of income for me and my family. Aside from my main source of income, I am SUPER grateful to have stumbled world of distributed blockchian networks. Through my activities, wether it's making a tutorial or showcasing an app, I've been able to obtain value in the form of cryptocurrency from those who obtain value from what I create. What a concept! value for value. Yesterday, I was able to buy shoes for me and a pair of boots for Pam. 100% paid for with $HBD I earned from creating videos showing people how to use tools like Hive Keychain and V4Vapp. Mind-boggling, right?

These are three things that I'd like to express gratitude for right now. Of course there are many more, but I'd like to save those for another Sunday and maybe another thoughtful daily post entry :)

What are you grateful for today?

Sunday is very special, very happy. It's good that you go around a lot. People are very happy when they go to places like this. It's good that inside your garden. Flowers are being planted here and this thing is also looking very beautiful.

You have a beautiful family. Compadre is even showing his teeth [smiling?], and it is good that you are keeping healthy. A zen garden is nice, but your plants have more character. The Monstera looks so nice, and the other plant with the roots floating around looks interestin.

Thanks so much! Compadre is a happy dog. We take him everywhere (including the gym). And yeah, love our little garden. I might have a photo of that monstera when we first got it, it was so small, it looked tiny inside that pot.

That's awesome. Most of the pictures I've seen of it is usually the full grown one. It really adds a lot of character wherever it is because of its huge leaves.

Hello, brother... It's good to see your words again. This is such a lovely post! But you know the deal... We gotta have rules. We require everyone to source the images/graphics they include. You did an outstanding job on the photos that were not yours. But nothing stating the awesome ones of you and the family. Please... won't you share what devices you have used to take such awesomesauce photos, so I can curate your post?

Appreciated, brother... It's good to see such positive, thoughtful, and yes... gratitude-filled energy. We need that in our lives considering the world's continuous state of affairs. Never hurts to have it on our blockchain either! I hope you can have a decent start to your week... Love and light...
