Toccata and Fugue in Venice - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello friends!
Yesterday I had an appointment in Venice and the day was so beautiful that I couldn't resist and even though I was in a hurry, I took some pictures with my Iphone XR.

To reach Venice I used the train and as soon as I got out of the Santa Lucia station, I couldn't help but take a picture right away! Look at that beautiful light!
It was early in the morning and the sun had yet to clear the buildings.

Ieri avevo un impegno a Venezia e la giornata era così bella che non ho resistito e anche se ero di fretta, ho fatto qualche foto con il mio Iphone XR.

Per raggiungere Venezia ho usato il treno e appena sono uscito dalla stazione Santa Lucia, non potevo non scattare subito una foto! Guardate che bella luce!
Era mattina presto e il sole doveva ancora scavalcare gli edifici.

From the station I immediately walked to the left along the Rio Terà Lista di Spagna, it is a long road where in the past there was a canal which was then filled up.

Dalla stazione ho camminato subito verso sinistra lungo il Rio Terà Lista di Spagna, si tratta di una lunga strada dove in passato c'era un canale che poi è stato interrato.

Sorry for the quality of the photos they are almost all taken in motion as I walked.
As it was a bright day I knew the iphone would use very fast shutter speeds so I didn't even stop to take the picture.

Once at home I processed the shots in Photoshop, some I had to straighten, the horizon was a bit tilted.

Scusate per la qualità delle foto sono quasi tutte scattate in movimento mentre camminavo.
Dato che era una giornata luminosa sapevo che l'iphone avrebbe usato tempi di posa molto veloci, così non mi sono neanche fermato per fotografare.

Una volta a casa ho elaborato gli scatti in Photoshop, alcuni li ho dovuti raddrizzare, l'orizzonte era un po' inclinato.

This shot is one of my favorites because of the light between the buildings.

The beauty of visiting Venice in the morning is precisely the duality of colors that is created thanks to the sun, which not being high above the buildings yet, the city is made up of cold and warm tones.

I like Venice a lot because everyone walks, it's easy to find an acquaintance and stop and chat.

All the volumes, the shapes of the city or of nature, have a different aspect: the shadows, the tonality of the light and therefore of the material are unique.

Since I was early for that morning's appointment, I explored a calle that overlooked the Grand Canal.
On the opposite bank you could see the famous Rialto fish market.

Nella riva opposta si vedeva il famoso mercato del pesce di Rialto.

Looking to the left, I glimpsed the famous Rialto Bridge.

Then I continued on to the appointment address.
While I waited, I photographed a beautiful tree surrounded by some red benches.

Once I finished what I had to do, I went back to the station.
It was around 11 and the light was completely different.
I think it's always worth dwelling on the little things, even if you have little time available.

Una volta concluso quello che dovevo fare, sono tornato verso la stazione.
Erano circa le 11 e la luce era completamente diversa.
Penso che vale sempre la pena soffermarsi sulle piccole cose, anche se si ha poco tempo a disposizione.
