Photographic Walk in Feltre, province of Belluno - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

Hello everyone! Even if it's a little late, today I propose a post about my visit to Feltre, in the province of Belluno!
I took this photographic walk during the Christmas period and I remember that it was quite cold!

Ciao a tutti! Anche se un po' in ritardo oggi vi propongo un post sulla mia visita a Feltre, in provincia di Belluno!
Questa passeggiata fotografica l'ho fatta durante il periodo natalizio e ricordo che faceva parecchio freddo!

The air was biting, the cold was intense, and the sidewalk in some places turned into a treacherous sheet of ice, forcing me to walk with caution.

I began my exploration around the historic center, letting myself be guided by the charm of the cobbled streets and the ancient facades that exuded history. There was a coming and going of people strolling by, observing the carefully decorated shop windows.

L'aria era pungente, il freddo era intenso, e il marciapiede in alcuni punti si trasformava in un'insidiosa lastra di ghiaccio, costringendomi a camminare con cautela.

Ho iniziato la mia esplorazione attorno al centro storico, lasciandomi guidare dal fascino delle vie acciottolate e delle antiche facciate che trasudavano storia. C'era un via vai di gente che passeggiata osservando le vetrine addobbate con cura.

As soon as I left the main street I found myself alone, finally I could concentrate more easily on some shots without people.

Appena uscito dalla via principale mi sono trovato solo, finalmente potevo concentrarmi più facilmente su qualche inquadratura senza persone.

Through a long pedestrian tunnel I passed right under the castle and emerged in a peripheral area but with a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains.

Attraverso una lunga galleria pedonale sono passato proprio sotto al castello e sono sbucato in un'area periferica ma con una bella vista sulle montagne innevate.

Little by little, I climbed up towards the castle area. The cold made my breathing visible and my numb hands sought shelter in the pockets of my coat.

Poco alla volta, sono salito verso la zona del castello. Il gelo rendeva il respiro visibile e le mani intorpidite cercavano riparo nelle tasche del cappotto.

I didn't miss the opportunity to take pictures of the landscape using the roofs of the snow-covered houses.

Non ho perso l'occasione per fare delle foto al paesaggio sfruttando i tetti delle case innevate.

After passing the large access gate to the old area of ​​Feltre, I arrived at Piazza Maggiore where there was a large illuminated fir tree.

Superato il grande varco di accesso all'area antica di Feltre sono arrivato alla piazza Maggiore dove c'era un grande abete illuminato.

The Christmas lights wrapped the tree in a sparkling embrace, the view was enchanting, a perfect contrast between the solid and noble history of the surrounding buildings and the festive lightness of the Christmas lights.

Le luminarie di Natale avvolgevano l'albero in un abbraccio scintillante, la vista era incantevole, un contrasto perfetto tra la storia solida e signorile dei palazzi circostanti e la leggerezza festosa delle luci natalizie.

After enjoying that magical atmosphere for a while, I started to go down, letting myself be guided by the lights that dotted the road.

Dopo aver assaporato per un po' quell'atmosfera magica, ho iniziato a scendere, lasciandomi guidare dalle luci che punteggiavano la strada.

The Christmas decorations accompanied me the entire way, creating a play of reflections on the frozen surfaces. Every lantern, every strand of light seemed to tell a story, transforming the town into a winter fairy tale.

Le decorazioni natalizie mi hanno accompagnato per tutto il tragitto, creando un gioco di riflessi sulle superfici ghiacciate. Ogni lanterna, ogni filo di luce sembrava raccontare una storia, trasformando la cittadina in una fiaba d'inverno.

Returning to the car, I stopped in this pretty little square, the pavement had a veil of snow, a beautiful life-size nativity scene and above me an umbrella of lights that contrasted with the dark blue of the sky. Very suggestive!

Ritornando verso l'auto, mi sono fermato in questa graziosa piazzetta, la pavimentazione aveva un velo di neve, un bel presepe a grandezza naturale e sopra di me un ombrello di luci che facevano da contrasto con il blu scuro del cielo. Molto suggestivo!

I still felt the biting cold, but inside me there was a different warmth, the kind that only the simple and authentic beauty of a place like Feltre can give, especially during the Christmas period.

Sentivo ancora il freddo pungente, ma dentro di me c'era un calore diverso, quello che solo la bellezza semplice e autentica di un luogo come Feltre sa regalare, soprattutto nel periodo natalizio.
