Hike Along the Water Path in Val Campelle, Scurelle, Trentino Alto Adige - Discovering Italy with alequandro!

A few weeks ago I embarked on an unforgettable excursion along the water path in Val Campelle, immersed in the suggestive region of Trentino Alto Adige. With the sun shining above my head and a sense of adventure in my heart, I was eager to explore the natural wonders that awaited me along Maso Creek.

Qualche settimana fa ho intrapreso un'indimenticabile escursione lungo il sentiero dell'acqua in Val Campelle, immerso nella suggestiva regione del Trentino Alto Adige. Con il sole splendente sopra la mia testa e un senso di avventura nel cuore, ero ansioso di esplorare le meraviglie naturali che mi aspettavano lungo il torrente Maso.

Before starting the trip, I decided to have a delicious picnic in one of the picnic areas nearby. Surrounded by the lush greenery of the woods at the foot of the Lagorai mountains, I cooked spaghetti with ragu with a camping kit and while I waited for the pasta to cook I made an appetizer with salami and cheese that I produce near where I live. The air was filled with the refreshing scent of pine trees and the distant sound of running water, promising an exciting day.

Prima di iniziare il viaggio, ho deciso di fare un delizioso picnic in una delle aree attrezzate nelle vicinanze. Circondato dal verde lussureggiante dei boschi ai piedi delle montagne del Lagorai, ho cucinato con un kit da campeggio degli spaghetti con il ragu e mentre attendevo che la pasta si cuocesse ho fatto un antipasto con salame e formaggio che prodotti vicino a dove vivo. L'aria era piena del profumo rinfrescante dei pini e del suono lontano dell'acqua che scorreva, promettendo una giornata emozionante.

Full of energy, I walk along the water path, following the course of the Maso stream. The crystal clear waters sparkled like precious gems and I couldn't resist dipping my fingers into the cool flow, instantly feeling a connection with nature. The gentle babbling of the stream served as a soothing soundtrack to my adventure, guiding me through the enchanting landscape.

Con il pieno di energie mi incammino sul sentiero dell'acqua, seguendo il corso del torrente Maso. Le acque cristalline scintillavano come gemme preziose e non ho potuto resistere alla tentazione di immergere le dita nel flusso fresco, sentendo immediatamente una connessione con la natura. Il dolce mormorio del ruscello ha fatto da rilassante colonna sonora alla mia avventura, guidandomi attraverso l'incantevole paesaggio.

As I walked along the path, I couldn't help but admire the beautiful scenery around me. Val Campelle is a true paradise for nature lovers, with lush forests, colorful wildflowers and majestic peaks looming in the distance. The beauty of this untouched nature was simply breathtaking.

Mentre camminavo lungo il sentiero, non potevo fare a meno di ammirare lo splendido scenario intorno a me. La Val Campelle è un vero paradiso per gli amanti della natura, con foreste lussureggianti, fiori selvatici colorati e cime maestose che si stagliano in lontananza. La bellezza di questa natura incontaminata era semplicemente mozzafiato.

During the hike, the trail revealed several surprises. I came across small streams cascading down the rocky terrain, creating little pools. These serene places provided a perfect opportunity to stop, contemplate and immerse myself in the tranquility of nature.

Durante l'escursione, il sentiero ha rivelato varie sorprese. Mi sono imbattuto in piccoli ruscelli che scendevano a cascata lungo il terreno roccioso, creando piccole pozze. Questi luoghi sereni offrivano un'opportunità perfetta per fermarsi, contemplare e immergermi nella tranquillità della natura.

Suddenly I even met a donkey who immediately reminded me of the animated film Shrek.

Ad un tratto ho persino incontrato un asino che mi ha ricordato immediatamente il film d'animazione Shrek.

Suddenly I arrived at a small church which is located near a restaurant that I will try sooner or later!

Ad un tratto sono arrivato ad una chiesetta che si trova nei pressi di un ristorante che prima o poi proverò!

After a few seconds, not seeing where the path continued, I decided to go back and go up the path instead of going down following the direction of the stream.

Dopo pochi sencondi non vedendo dove proseguiva il sentiero, ho deciso di ritornare indietro e risalire il sentiero invece di scendere seguendo la dorezione del torrente.

The sound of birds singing overhead and the occasional rustle of wildlife added to the feeling of being at one with nature. Along the way, wooden bridges spanned the stream, adding a charming touch to the landscape and facilitating easy passage over the water.

Il suono degli uccelli che cantavano in alto e l'occasionale fruscio della fauna selvatica hanno aggiunto alla sensazione di essere tutt'uno con la natura. Lungo il percorso, ponti di legno attraversavano il torrente, conferendo un tocco affascinante al paesaggio e facilitando un facile passaggio sull'acqua.

As the day progressed, I found myself captivated by the ever-changing vistas. The sun cast golden rays over the valleys and the colors seemed to intensify, creating a painting-like scene that I wanted to capture and treasure forever.

Con il passare della giornata, mi sono ritrovato affascinato dai panorami in continua evoluzione. Il sole proiettava raggi dorati sulle valli e i colori sembravano intensificarsi, creando una scena simile a un dipinto che avrei voluto catturare e custodire per sempre.

The Maso stream was a constant companion throughout the excursion. Its gentle murmur and occasional waterfalls added a delightful soundtrack to my hike. The water was freezing, and I occasionally dipped my hands in to feel the refreshing chill, providing a welcome respite from the summer heat.

Il torrente Maso è stato un compagno costante durante tutta l'escurione. Il suo dolce mormorio e le occasionali cascate hanno aggiunto una deliziosa colonna sonora alla mia escursione. L'acqua era gelida e, di tanto in tanto, immergevo le mani per sentire il freddo rinfrescante, fornendo una gradita tregua dal caldo estivo.

The trail was well marked and relatively easy to navigate, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the tranquility of the surroundings. Along the way, I met fellow hikers, exchanging smiles and friendly hellos, as we all shared the joy of exploring this magnificent place.

Il sentiero era ben segnalato e relativamente facile da navigare, permettendomi di immergermi completamente nella tranquillità dei dintorni. Lungo la strada, ho incontrato altri escursionisti, scambiandoci sorrisi e saluti amichevoli, mentre tutti condividevamo la gioia di esplorare questo magnifico luogo.

During the excursion I also met several wooden bridges making the journey even more adventurous and exciting. It was a delightful experience, walking these bridges and stopping occasionally to photograph the picturesque scenery.

Durante l'escursione ho anche incontrato diversi ponti di legno rendendo il viaggio ancora più avventuroso ed emozionante. È stata un'esperienza deliziosa, camminare su questi ponti e fermarsi di tanto in tanto per fotografare lo scenario pittoresco.

The scent of mushrooms intoxicated me, at this time of year it's quite easy to find porcini, excellent for risotto or tagliatelle.

Be careful though, the collection is regulated, you must have a permit.

Il profumo di funghi mi inebriava, in questo periodo dell'anno è abbastanza facile trovare porcini, ottimi per risotti o tagliatelle.

Attenzione però, la raccolta è regolamentata, bisogna avere un permesso.

Looking back at the photos, I get a little nostalgic, I can't wait to go back to Val Campelle and walk in those woods that seem enchanted.

Riguardando le foto mi sale un po' di nostalgia, non vedo l'ora di tornare in Val Campelle e camminare in quei boschi che sembrano fatati.

Another interesting aspect of this route is that it is well equipped with benches and tables and there are also fountains where you can drink delicious fresh water.

Un altro aspetto interessante di questo percorso è che è ben attrezzato con panchine e tavoli e ci sono anche fontane dove bere della buonissima acqua fresca.

I had reached the Conseria bridge, my goal for that day.
I admit I was delayed because of the picnic but it was worth it I was relaxed and recharged at the same time.

Ero giunto al ponte Conseria, il mio obiettivo di quella giornata.
Ammetto che ho ritardato a causa del pic nic però ne è valsa la pena mi era rilassato e allo stesso tempo ricaricato.

Another hour's walk and I would have arrived at Malga Conseria, who knows what a view from up there!
It will definitely be an experience that I will try!

Ancora un'ora di cammino e sarei arrivato a malga Conseria, chissà che vista da lassù!
Sarà sicuramente un'esperienza che proverò!

With the memories of this incredible experience etched in my heart, I left Val Campelle with the promise to return one day. The Maso stream and the water path gave me an unforgettable adventure, leaving me with a deep appreciation for the breathtaking beauty of the rugged landscapes of Trentino Alto Adige.

Con i ricordi di questa incredibile esperienza impressi nel cuore, ho lasciato la Val Campelle con la promessa di tornare un giorno. Il torrente Maso e il sentiero dell'acqua mi hanno regalato un'avventura indimenticabile, lasciandomi un profondo apprezzamento per la bellezza mozzafiato dei paesaggi aspri del Trentino Alto Adige.
