A Surely Experience
So today was a very good day at last. Was wandering how will I start, It was about my project work still. How will I start letting my supervisor know about what's on ground 🤔🤔... Will he accept me this time around?
It was a tough week althrough, with plenty ups and downs. Engaged in a misconception earlier between my project supervisor and also with my group members. If you could remember last week I made a post about the work I'm on. Did you know I have to rework it with my fellow colleagues?? 😢 We couldn't acheive the expected results.
The cast specimens were to heavy and concrete based! When there are supposed to be Leighton weight and composite. My supervisor traveled out for a seminar. My group members all resting from the heavy work done last. I busy calling to report on the status of work to know if we were right... 😔😔 But couldn't get intouched with my Boss.
"If this is the dimensions it's okay but with this thickness and to be used as a ceiling then you're wrong" 😔. The stament from my Prof. Though we aren't producing a tile here but working with a standard to analyze the reactions between this component elements. "I called my supervisor and explain what was said, I will reserve my comments till I returned he said" actually he gave us everything we need as template with some literature to work on. But we couldn't go through them on time. We are looking at the goal and not concentrating on the objective. And this has caused us alot of damages and waste.
We never to give up return today. When our supervisor was around, we showed him the last two specimens that were produced in his absence to our surprised she accepted it. And was happy. He said it's strong and also lighter than the former though heavy a little. That was a 85 by 15 mixed. So he advised we work with 80 by 20 mixed and compared. After a mixed we discovered a more lighter results ratio and we go with 75 by 25 percentage mixed ratio and finally on the track to success.
We bought some snacks and make a merry for our outstanding efforts of not giving up. As I share this with you. My project work is going as planned. I'm happy. A great way to enjoy the weekend. My beautiful Saturday experience!
