The Mushroom Speaks

People frequently believe that we are stowaways or even bothersome parasites.

We stand above the rest, so that explains it, even though some of us live independently on our own land.

We object to being referred to as invaders, let alone parasites; in reality, we occupy space and ride without meaning to cause harm.

You even know that life is not always simple, and therefore, whether you like it or not, you must depend on others.

When you ask someone for help, they may occasionally be pleased to support you, but more often than not, you will just be ignored.

Our current life is only temporary. So, if only for a day, please let us enjoy life. We shall never forget your generosity.

Some of us can be used, so feel free to pick us if you'd like to have a great lunch at the table or just some herbs for your health.

However, there are also some that are toxic here, so you must be careful where you pick.

Therefore, we are neither stowaways nor bothersome parasites!
