Monomad: They Too Live in the Same Universe As You

Many things occasionally elude our unaided eyesight. That's because we're accustomed to viewing things that are plainly apparent.

You don't realize there is an "other world" surrounding you as you are walking along the lonely, winding country roads; there are small animals engaged in their own world. When you unconsciously pass by them, you might be a "ruthless giant" or a "passing wind" in their eyes.

However, once you understand that they too live in the same universe as you and that they have the same needs as you—to breathe, drink water, eat, poop, mate, and, of course, die—perhaps you could begin to develop a friendly relationship with them.

I submitted these macro shots for the #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.

All of the images here are my own work, taken with Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.

It is really true. There are few people who understand the world of tiny creatures. The big world seems very small to us.
