Monomad: Fairy

I remember one time my youngest son asked me a question, and it came after he finished reading a book of fairy tales. "Hey dad, do fairies really exist?"

For a moment, I smiled at hearing such an innocent question. "Of course fairies exist. Fairies are butterflies, and butterflies are fairies."

Suddenly, he sulked at my answer. "How could butterflies be fairies! Fairies are fairies, and they have magic wands, while butterflies don't have that."

"Look at the picture of fairies in your book; don't they look a lot like butterflies?" I tried to explain. "In the past, they were allowed to carry magic wands wherever they went. But now it is prohibited. They will be arrested by the police if they are caught carrying magic wands."

I saw him laugh when he heard my chatter.
