Monomad: Aphids Sweeper

There is a diligent little one. He sweeps aphids from the leaves every day. Although he was not paid, he did it wholeheartedly. He benefits from this work; I noticed him greedily devouring aphid after aphid that he passed. That alone was enough to make him happy.

His body's so small but much bigger than aphids. He moves gracefully around the leaves like a walking watermelon seed, while munching on the crunchy aphids.

I wonder when he will rest if he keeps doing that. It's not time yet, there are still many things to be done. Maybe when night falls, or when he wants to mate. Hey, doesn't the latter take up so much energy? Ladybugs do like to mate whenever they want. Maybe next time I should peek at them mating.

This is another entry I submitted for the daily #monomad challenge.

All these photos are my original work, taken with a Xiaomi POCO NFC smartphone and an assembled external macro lens.
