Splinterlands art contest week 318: Digital drawing of Lobb Lowland.

How are y'all doing?

I've been really busy lately enhancing my skills on #digitalart and it has not been busy cause I had to put down some of my daily activities just to create time it. This week I'm making my entry with one of @splinterlands exciting male character generally known as "Lobb Lowland". It's my first drawing of this character and I decided to illustrate it in an angry mood using a dark tone with a touch of white to create the background.. Honestly, this is the most challenging drawing I've done digitally and could be my best #illustration of dark effect so far.

One of the difficulties I faced was creating a facial expression that depicts an angry state cause it's something I don't often do.. With all I experienced today while drawing, I would boldly say it's easier to create some effect on drawing using pencil rather than doing it digitally as a beginner.

About the drawing, I started my making a sketch of the character and went on to the shading process using various light colours to create layers of all I had thought about, in addition with a reference picture of the character which I downloaded. After I had created the intended image, I began to work on the background using a dark shade to create a night mode which in my opinion fits well into the character's mood besides, I love dark background. I do hope you'd love it!
