My colour pencil drawing titled care and sacrifice.

I would be sharing an image I titled care and sacrifice I made some years back. I remembered it again due to what I saw yesterday. While it was raining heavily yesterday, I came out to take my shoes in, then I saw a young girl with a child on back taking shelter at the entrance of my house.

I felt pity seeing her shivering as result of being drenched by the heavy downpour. I was moved to ask her why she was on the rain and she said she misplaced the keys to their apartment when she went to buy something, and as soon as she noticed it on getting home, she decided to go back to the shop if she would fine the keys, that was when it started raining. So, I took her inside so she could get worm and laid the crying baby on her back to sleep and they left immediately the rain stopped.

The girl sacrificed herself to keep the baby away from the heavy downpour. That was a huge sacrifice and care. The image was achieved with colour pencils on cardboard paper. I do hope you'd love it 🥰
