Discovering the Hidden Gem: Pipeline Track in Donga Gali
Hello All!!
Hope you are all well and enjoying your life. Actually I was very bored for few days and had nothing to do as I had finished my exams few days back. Some of my friends and relatives were also there. They had never seen Murree before because they came from remote areas. So they decided that they want to feel the coolness of Nathia Gali.
So we made a plan to visit the Pipeline Track which is located in Donga Gali. Nathia Gali has a distance of almost 5 kilometres from Donga Gali. Basically Pipeline Track is a track having 4kilometres long water pipeline which starts from Donga Gali and ends at Ayubia. The length of this track is 4kilometres. Plus this track is not dangerous, it has fence around its edges.
We were total 6 persons. So we booked a 6 seater cab and started out journey in the morning. It started raining and it continued raining all the way till our destination.
The road was beautiful as it has mountains on its both sides. We enjoyed our journey, witnessed the nature and sang songs. After two hours of continuous drive, we reached our destination.
We started the track in the rain.
The track was wet because of the continuous rain. However, the scenes were so amazing.
After a walk of 10 minutes, the clouds covered all the trees. There was no visibility on the left side of track.
We started capturing the nature in our mobiles.
We continued our walk towards the end.
We couldn’t complete the track because of rain, so we stopped at the 2 kilometres rest point and captured some pictures and group photos.
The weather was chill and we all were feeling cold as our clothes got wet just because of the rain.
So after checking the weather conditions, we decided not to go forward as the weather may get worse. So we started our walk backward.
After walking for 5 minutes, the rain stopped abd the weather started getting clear.
The clouds disappeared in few moments and the views appeared were unbelievable and can’t be explain in words.
There were lush green pine trees even at the top of mountains.
We stayed there and enjoyed the fresh oxygen.
After saving the nature in our eyes and phones, we started our walk and reached Donga Gali. Then we went to Nathia Gali and had an awesome meal there.
It was getting dark and we had to go back to our home. So we started our journey to Islamabad and reached in 2.5 hours due to the heavy traffic on road.
This trip was one of the best trips of my life as I witnessed the changing of weather in this trip. I should also suggest you to visit the Pipeline track and enjoy the beauty of nature there.
Thankyou for your time.
See you soon.
Take Care.
