They usually say No when it's time to write their 12 words secret phrase...
When I'm around, I usually write them myself, and tell them to keep it in a safe place. For my cousins' I even keep a copy (didn't happen with crypto yet, but I help them with other things,) because I don't trust them to keep the words safe by themselves!
