The Genocidal Center-Choeung Ek

But this time, it was my occasion there is a haunting reminder of the atrocities committed against the Cambodian people exhibition for international tourists and Cambodian as well.

#Killing tree

That is very hard to describe, but let's me put some words to it. This tree used to be the tree that they catch the kids and hit them with this trees until the baby dead this trees calls (Kiri), obviously the very small kids who knows nothing. Everyone who has read the letter on the board describing the situation would be so sad and feel so sorry. I feel sad, but I can't pinpoint the exact source of my emotions.

By the way I don't have a clue why bracelet put on the tree including with money. But I guess people do it to show great respect to the spiritual of the victim.

The Khmer Rouge era from 1970-75 that isn't even a hundred years yet, for me it still a fresh documentory , the period that is a must to remember, and I actually see many documents when I was a student. Mostly they included it in History academy and Khmer lecturature as well. And the biggest facts is that I have been through that era when I was just a child who the leader force to carry the cow poop and chores at the kitchen and the place where cow stay.

That period they have study that there was around 2 millions people died and also leave many Orphans and widom. Even my family members I have lived separately from my brother and sister, right now I only have my older and one younger sister. That is what I have been threatened, I am fortunate that my mental health is okay because during that day the sound and the thing I see is very memorable.

Here is where visitors can go and purchase audio service if they don't have a guide with them.

I hope you don't mind. Yes, in some area they don't allow visitors to hold the camera or even phone so I just have the outdoor photo.

Previously, I have shown you a genocide center related to Pol Pot regime which is S21 museum. Because Cambodian have been through the terrible situation.

#S21 museum

Compare to S21 museum I think the feeling I got is exactly been a little similar in some point, but killing field show more obvious thing which is really touch in my heart.

we lost many people, some of the people who still alive may not living great because they face depression and get injury and war that have left many badly so that's why we have to learn more about history especially with this obviously museum and the exhibition that offer more information about the facts and reason. Well, I booked a Tuk Tuk and it is about 10 kilometers from the center where I was waiting for this transportation. So now I was waiting for the Tuk Tuk again in order to go back home.

This is very sad. I went to Cambodia but have never been to the museum. Hearing all the stories and watching the photos from fellow travelers makes me feel depressed.
