The day I harvested the Cotton Candy looked very attractive with its interesting colors and aroma, I wanted to edit the macros of this great plant so you could take a closer look at the color and state of the trichomes worthy of an exhibition that indicate that I harvested it at the right point.

Cannabis has glandular trichomes as they secrete sticky "resin" compounds that trap insects or substances that irritate, kill or modify their behavior.

El día que coseche la Cotton Candy lucía muy atractiva con sus interesantes colores y aroma, deseaba editar los macros de esta gran planta para que pudieran observar más de cerca el color y estado de los tricomas digna de su una exhibición que indican que la coseche en su punto correcto.

La naturaleza es increíble, estos tricomas son los que contienen la sustancia añorada por todos los cultivadores y defensores de la planta, en los tricomas es donde se concentran los cannabinoides y terpenos que genera el cannabis. La palabra “tricoma” viene de la palabra griega “trichōma” que significa “cabello”, y a simple vista, se ven como pelos finos y pequeños.

Son apéndices o excrecencias de la epidermis de las plantas y que tiene funciones muy variadas: absorber agua, regular la temperatura o proteger contra rayos solares y depredadores. El cannabis posee tricomas glandulares ya que segregan compuestos pegajosos “resina” que atrapan a los insectos o sustancias que los irritan, matan o modifican su comportamiento.

Esto se está volviendo una interesante clase pero es necesario destacar e informar de todo esto y de cómo al ver esta maravilla de la naturaleza podemos pensar porque son tan interesantes las experiencias y viajes que podemos encontrar con esta grandiosa planta.

Continuando con este contenido didáctico coloquialmente se les llama “pelillos” aunque también se les conocen con el nombre de “resina”, y son, posiblemente la parte más importante para los apasionados de las extracciones y concentrados de Cannabis.

Los tricomas también nos permiten determinar la fecha de recolección o corte de la planta ya que una combinación de tricomas ámbar con lechosos pueden producir un efecto que genera mucho bienestar, por supuesto existen diferentes preferencias en cuanto al corte, según el gusto de cada cultivador.

Para mi el cannabis es una de las plantas sagradas y ancestrales más interesantes del planeta, porque no solo puede ayudar de forma medicinal, si no también puede mejorar nuestro estado de conciencia como un auténtico recurso cuando la sabemos usar de forma sabía y esto es equivalente a todo el aprendizaje que obtenemos no solo cultivando, si no a través de su uso medicinal y creativo.
