Delicious thatch sago porridge

come back with me on this occasion I want to share a legendary food from my area, some may be unfamiliar with this food, but in my area this is a rare food that we rarely find, unless we make it ourselves at home
This was one of my favorite foods when I was little, I very often asked my mother to make this food, namely palm sago porridge, in fact my mother used to make palm sago porridge almost every school holiday, I really loved this food.
However, to cure my longing for this legendary food, I made it myself at home, to reminisce about my childhood, because every time I see this palm sago porridge I am reminded of my childhood, this is very interesting.
Ingredients for making thatch sago porridge:
200 grams of rumbia sago flour
8 tbsp granulated sugar
jackfruit (optional
2 pandan leaves
how to make :
The first step is to first make the thatch porridge with 200 grams of thatch flour, dissolve it in 150ml of mineral water, then cook over medium heat while stirring, then the liquid thatch porridge will turn thick as shown, cook for about 10 minutes until the thatch porridge is thick.
Once the rumbia sago is thick then set aside for a while, and make porridge sauce including jackfruit flesh, cut the jackfruit flesh into cubes then set aside for a moment
After that, cook 600ml of coconut milk and add 2 pandan leaves and the jackfruit pieces to the coconut milk, add 1 teaspoon of salt and 8 tablespoons of granulated sugar, mix well, cook for about 25 minutes while stirring until the coconut milk is perfectly cooked.
Check the taste to see if it's right, and tara palm grass sago porridge is ready to be served to accompany your relaxing time with your beloved family
