LIFE DOESN’T COME WITH A MANUAL…

Amazing is the word that comes to mind when I reflect on the power of love and care we naturally blend into from the moment of conception. It is a natural, love is. We get the protection we need and deserve and because of that, we are shielded from the world and whatever it comes with. Starting from nurturing, to sheltering, Provision of basic needs and a host of other necessities are offered to us by our families.
When a child starts to learn his first steps and falls, his parents are right there to give him a helping hand up. That is how solid our families have our backs when we need it.
Now let’s jump into life outside the family. It is a different ball game all together. You would have to work your way through life itself to get to your desired destination. You find yourself in the mist of many people with different backgrounds and different culture. Each individual comes with his or own temperaments and it requires a certain kind of adjustment to deal with each person, uniquely.
You are likely to meet people who would not like you for no apparent reason. It could be how straight your head sits on your neck, the way you carry yourself, your looks, and even your mere existence alone, could be offensive to someone, ironically.
On a different note, unlike families where most things come to you easily, you have to work hard to earn you reward in society. There may be some jobs that don’t even match their rewards. So much energy and time would be invested to get a work done, yet the returns on it wouldn’t be rewarding enough. Regardless. When you know the reward came from your hardwork, it feels satisfactory.
Ever once imagined life as a straight-line replica, maybe as a child, only to grow up and found out life is made of up bumps, curves and turns? There is no one direction, the road of life is scattered everywhere. There are knots and turns and each rise and fall presents with it a set of trials.
You can laugh a minute and be crying the next, you could make some gains in an instant and lose everything in a blink. You also meet some great people in life and the not-so-great people too. Some experiences you get become lifelong lessons and help to mold your life for the better.
What is the point of all the above?
The point here is that ‘’life doesn’t come with a manual’’, (not that I envisioned it as such), but this should have been driven straight into my head at a very early stage to prepare me well enough for the world.
I suppose this is one of those things no one tells you about, you learn that ON YOUR OWN.
You can laugh a minute and cry the next, real okay😭😭😭
It happens so fast and unexpectedly. You don’t even know where to even pass
Tell me about... It's just the way it is.
