Shedeur Sanders to the Titans in 2025?

If the Titans continue their free fall like most expect, I think it's natural to look towards the future while still hoping for some miraculous recovery of the 2024 season. With the Bills and Lions coming up these next two games, the Titans could be 1-6 real quick. At that point, the season is very much done since beyond that, the Titans play the Vikings, Commanders, Bengals and of course the Texans twice. Not great.

This podcast displays just how in shambles this franchise is at this point in time.

Levis does not seem like the answer, but the answer could very well be playing college football as we speak. The Titans are so critically low on both talent and energy that I think Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders could be the perfect injection of both talent and life to this entire franchise.

Shedeur and his father Deion have had the spotlight on them for awhile now. Deion of course is one of the greatest athletes of all time and has been there coaching BOTH of his sons every step of the way. The family oozes confidence and can also be a bit cocky. They are often vocal about how they feel about things in general, are active on social media, and are very competitive. Their desire to win is clear that's for sure and I have to respect that. They also aren't shy about their religious views which I also tend to respect.

Colorado is relevant for the first time in ages and they're on pace to have the most wins the team has had since 2016 when they had 10.

Many have wanted to see Shedeur fail at playing QB due to his and his family's cockiness and outspokenness. Personally I just find it all entertaining. I find it kinda funny when they lose but I am also entertained and impressed when they succeed after being so outspoken. It's pretty much why I like MMA.

Shedeur is not exactly the best QB in the nation, but even with all of the eyeballs on him, he has established himself with a reputation of being a pretty dang good QB and a hard worker. He's seen as a top five, if not top three QB prospect in the upcoming draft class.

When I watch Shedeur I see a good modern QB who is very well balanced as a quarterback. No major weaknesses that I can tell really. Maybe a little nervous in the pocket sometimes but not too much more than average. He's not afraid to take a hit or anything.

SHedeur is very much a pass first QB, far from a scrambling type, he is not even all that fast to begin with as many would expect when we remember his speedy father. Shedeur does have good feet under him though and adequate speed I'd call it. He has quality height at 6'2" and does seem more stout and bulky than his dad was.

Shedeur has good accuracy in the middle and short range which is excellent considering how frequent these type of passes are. Shedeur plays more like a Mahomes style of QB but does have some Joe Burrow-like qualities and one would expect this since Shedeur has been known to have worked with Tom Brady in the past.

If Shedeur becomes the next Titans QB, then I think he would do extremely well in Brian Callahan's offense due to Shedeur's skillset. Shedeur could feast in the short and intermediate range and since he has a good football IQ being around his father and Brady and whoever else, I believe he could grasp the offense in a way Levis hasn't.

Shedeur brings a second BIG quality to him and that's his ability to put butts in seats. Heck, maybe even Deion could coach in Nashville? I don't want to give up on Brian yet though, so I'd be reluctant but not overly opposed either.

With the state of the franchise being so bad and just uninspired, Shedeur coming to Tennessee just oozing confidence and preaching hard work and dedication and everything would be pretty fun. Deion of course would be around too and would of course be vocal and supportive.

The Sanders family would for sure bring a ton of attention to the Titans! Not sure how I'll feel if this turned toxic but I really don't think it would be that toxic if things did go bad somehow. I don't think it will though. Besides, right now the team is just depressing.

I think Shedeur could potentially REALLY turn this ship around. On the field AND off. This kid could be massive for the franchise.

I have heard rumblings that Tom Brady will want to scoop up Shedeur for the Raiders since Tom just became a partial owner of the team. The Raiders are in nearly as bad of shape as the Titans are, and of course Brady and Shedeur have their own personal relationship. The Raiders could very well be a big road block if the Titans want Shedeur.

But I think Shedeur could thrive in Nashville. Nashville is growing and the fanbase is hungry. Shedeur could have a 15 year career in Nashville, win three rings and be king in Nashville. By the time his career is over the city will be significantly bigger.

ALSO, Shedeur would be playing in a shiny new Titans stadium that is due to open in 2027.

Man, it stinks to have to look at college for some hope for your favorite team but it's fun to wonder too.

Things will get better, when and how is a whoooooole different, intriguing question. I know I'll be here rooting every step of the way.
