76ers are BACK tonight | Big Three Looked Excellent Sunday!

Ohhh yes the energy surrounding the Sixers feels a bit better! It's nice to actually discuss a team that is WINNING unlike my Titans LOL.

The Sixers were off a few days due to the NBA cup finishing up. I'm overall glad for the team's sake that they were off because the team's season has been so rocky. These days off were not good just because of rest and recovery purposes but also because the team actually has momentum and the team ACTUALLY has the big three of Embiid, Maxey and George playing! Any way to preserve those three is a good thing.

On Sunday all three played against the Bulls and they looked pretty outstanding! Embiid socred 31, Maxey had a TRIPLE DOUBLE, and George scored 12 points and recorded 7 rebounds. All the other players that were playing extended minutes due to the big three not playing got a chance to rest and show their value in roles that they were realistically expected to play all season long.

It's nice that Embiid is actually playing ya know, the job that pays him a massive sum of money. His and the team's resting tactics are still a bit mysterious but, there's some signs that he'll slowly be more available the rest of the way this season.

The Sixers face the Pacers tonight and this will be a good test for the big three and the whole team of course, against an above average team. The Sixers look to contain Haliburton with George and maybe Kelly Oubre Jr. I'm guessing. I like Kelly's role on the team, he can guard a lot of positions, he's got a good balance of skill and toughness. On a team like this, with the big three hopefully more intact on a consistent basis, I'm curious to see how he can benefit with all that talent around him.

It's nice to be a bit more optimistic about the Sixers and actually watch competitive basketball. Don't look now but the Sixers are 4-1 in their last five games!

Let's. Go. Mid December, now's a good time to get things rolllllling.

#GOSIXERS!!!
