The Life Quote That Has Stuck with Me
In this our journey of life, we are constantly faced with lot of experiences and moments in our life that shaped our life. Sometimes some of those experiences can be joyful and sometimes it can really be so tough and challenging. In the few years I have lived in this world, I have come across several quotes I mean both inspirational and motivational quotes that has really hit me hard and have been with me for many years.
But among them all, there is this particular life quote that has stuck with me is this popular adage that we always say that "This Too Shall Pass". Trust me, this adage might really look so simple but over the years have a very deep impact in my life and in fact during difficult situations has helped me to scale through. It has always served as a constant reminder that I need to be resilient and keep going no matter the hurdles of life that I encounter along the way.
Understanding what the quote "This too shall pass" means, what I understand is that there is no situation you can be right now whether it is good or it is bad, you should always have the mindset that it is not permanent as it will pass away. No matter the challenges we constantly faced, it will surely come to an end one day. Not only limited to when we are faced with tough or negative circumstances, but also the successes we have right now, we should cherish them because it is not forever.
Moving to the aspect why the Quote over the years has been so important to me, I will say as the year goes by, the significance of the quote begins to get clearer to me. There were seasons in my life that I was faced with so much of challenges. Challenges ranging from debt, rejection, failure academically and many more. The weight of all these challenges almost pushed me to depression as I begin to feel a sense of stagnation in my life every blessed day. I looked around but it actually seems the more I tried, the more it looks like there is no way out.
I think I stumbled across this particular quote on someone WhatsApp status then and it looks like a light flows through my mind. I was in pain then but suddenly I felt a peace deep within me that there are no circumstances that are permanent. Having that particular knowledge has made or allowed me to be able to pass through the darkest moments in my life as it has given me the strength always to pass through hurdles of life because I have grown to have this mindset, that no matter the hard time I am facing right now, this will also pass by.
I remember those period, I was in serious debt. I mean serious debt from those online loan apps, I keep working and working in a bid to get them cleared but it looks the money was not coming. I can remember there was a day I started crying. Why is it looking like my life is stagnated, but the moment I remember this quote, instantly I felt this hope that no matter what i am facing right now, it will pass by. It has really helped me to manage difficult situations in my life with total resilience and persistency. Nowadays no matter what I am facing right now, I am quite optimistic that it will pass by.

Not only has it helped me to manage difficult situations in my life with resilience, it has also helped me to be able to embrace the needed change and growth i need to be able to face the hurdles of life and also to get better. Life is without change as life is not static. Circumstances will make us to keep evolving and evolving as time goes and helps us to be able to learn, grow and adapt. Having the understanding of this quote "This too shall pass" has really helped me to embrace change and channel it to my growth and development. I see every lesson to be utilised in my life and getting prepared about the next phase of my life that comes.
As I conclude, this quote has been a right companion for me in tough situations in my life and has helped me to overcome tough times in my life that I will never have imagined that I can overcome. It has been a guiding principle over the years for me and even till now, no matter the situation and how it is looking so tough, it will surely pass by as it is not permanent.

I have always believed that no amount of problems we may encounter, they aren't permanent and they aren't something new to us. If others could scale through them, we can. They shall pass away. We just need to keep the faith going and understanding that one day, we would be free.
