The Last Thing I Googled and Why

The internet world has really shaped our world totally and we can barely do anything without the world of the internet and that is just how the digital world has really changed the space massively beyond what I can confess. Google has really become something that has also been part of me every single day.

Well even with the invention of the Chat-GPT and how fast the artificial intelligence personality can respond to your list of questions, I will still say there are actually sometimes I will be looking for details to actually search and even the Chat-GPT will not be able to give us the full details, I will resort to making use of Google and trust me it always deliver beyond I can ever imagine of.

Trying to remember the last time I actually searched one thing in Google, this made me realise that our personal lives demand to surround the internet. The world of technology has really shaped our life totally and this curiosity has made me to go search "What will be the world of interest in the next 50 years?"
Even though the internet has really transformed our lives beyond we can confess, I will say I constantly wonder and think how will the digital world actually affect us in the next 50 years digital wise. What will be the world of internet by the year 2074.

The result I got from Google was actually overwhelming. In all the result, one of the things I got was that the picture of internet was presented to me to cut across every aspect of human life. What I mean was that it becomes difficult for us to actually differentiate between the physical world and the digital world because it looks interwoven actually.

And in my research, I discovered that for the prediction for the next 50 years, there will be a massive rise of immersive experiences. What I mean is that there will a massive advancements in the aspect of virtual and augmented reality and I see it been incorporated to the real world. The virtual reality will be daily living every blessed day actually. This evolution will definitely affect a whole lot of things about us most especially the way we see things and how it works and even socialise.

I was imagining the scenario that instead of us still browsing on a website concerning a product, we might be virtually walking and interacting with those websites as if it is a life-like setting. Some say that the internet will become something that is beyond what we use but somewhere we exist and live in actually. The aspect I will also like to mention is the fact that the artificial intelligence will be the control of the world.

Artificial intelligence will be our daily companion in the next 50 years to come because it will definitely create massive wave even beyond what has been created just now. Of course, you will agree with me that we have personal internet assistants like the Siri, Alexa, Chat-GPT and many more. But the prediction given was the fact that in 50 years to come, it will be more dominant than before. There will be more personal assistants that will be able to solve complex tasks beyond what we even see today.

The other aspect of the picture of what the internet will be in the next 50 years I was able to pick was the fact that there will be massive control and dominance of the decentralisation world. Of course there will be massive adoption of the Blockchain world and it will grew beyond that. I see all of our world committed to the internet as there will hardly be anything that we will not be able to do in the next 50 years that will definitely not involve the internet.

But even with those huge benefits I have listed, I am still concerned about the side effects it might have to the type of society and world we will be having then. So much that will also affect the family and our society. Imagine if there is so much negativity that the presence of internet is causing in terms of fraud, scams, social media effects and many more, imagine how rapid it will be in the next 50 years, it will definitely be so rapid and more fearful. Well I believe it will be handle with more care.

As I conclude, someone reading this might want to ask me why I even went there at first to actually Google this. Well I am just so fascinated about the future of internet. There are times I will just sit and wonder where will our world be in years to come concerning the internet world, will there be more harm than good or vice versa. Well time will definitely tell in due seasons but I am so sure that in 50 years to come, the world of internet will be in a better place to be than now.
