She Grew Up, A Redraw of an Old Work
Pardon the filter. The second image below is an old piece I shared when I started blogging for kicks back in 2017. I spent a lot of time not doing art stuff so I'm not really surprise at this pace of growth. Some artists can already do 2.5D to 3D realism in a year or two while I stagnated over life.
Old version from 2017 Instagram:
I'll probably make another version of this in the future just cause.
I used some tips learned on the new piece but these are just too subtle to notice like being less neurotic with lines, adding some semblance of depth, putting in more effort into volume, lighting, and color but nothing as grand as what the master have been doing.
I'm using iArtbook on iPad which is like procreate but free, it has small differences but nothing that could be a nuisance to beginner artists. I moved from Ibis Paint because the ads were too intrusive on screen. This one is free and still has ads but at least they pop up less. iArtbook didn't pay me for endorsing the app but it's worth learning if you want a sub for proceate or clip studio paint.
I'll probably try fan arts just to expand my reach over twitter.
This was also posted on my @artofadamada account.
This went under several editing and I was thinking of publishing time lapse but then it would have several redo strokes and wasted time trying to figure out my shit together so no.

badass! love the new version!
Awesome trees. Deep forest. ❤️🔥
One can literally see how much she has grown @adamada. The two image tell a very short story . She grew up evidently. she became stronger judging from the weapon she is holding. She became a stronger and better version of a her previous self.
It motivational and inspirational
Lol even the trees grew. You literally told a story with this artwork. Nice
