Hola, amigos de #GeekZone. Hoy les traigo el capítulo final de mi aventura en Out of Line. Como ya saben, este es un juego que mezcla plataformas y puzzles de forma muy entretenida y original, en el cual debemos escapar de una fábrica, mientras conseguimos cubos de energía para restaurar un árbol sagrado. En este último capítulo nos encontramos con un nuevo compañero de camino, esta vez al parecer se trata de un hombre mayor, ya que se apoya en una especie de vara para caminar. Él nos ayudará con varios acertijos y a escapar de las garras asesinas.

Este tramo final lo sentí bastante aburrido, no hubo mucha emoción, ni acción, es más, ni siquiera los puzzles fueron desafiantes. Incluso el jefe final fue bastante sencillo de vencer. Lo que sí me encontré fueron varios bugs, lo cual hizo que el final del juego se sintiera bastante agridulce, la mayoría fue cuando el personaje debía tomar una cadena, cosa que no hizo nunca a la primera, a pesar de estar haciendo todo correctamente, sino que tenía de intentar más de cinco o seis veces para que pudiera hacerlo. Eso me llegó a desesperar bastante, lo bueno es que no fue durante puzzles que dependieran de hacer algo rápido, porque sin duda en ese momento hubiera abandonado el juego.

Sin embargo, el mayor problema de todos vino en el enfrentamiento con el "jefe final", en el cual había que activar palancas de forma alternada, sin embargo, al momento derrotar al jefe, la que estaba activando en ese momento desapareció y mi personaje cayó de la plataforma justo cuando se iba a activar la cinemática de la derrota del jefe. Al finalizar la cinemática el juego no continuó correctamente, por lo que tuve que salir al menú y darle continuar, por suerte no se perdió nada del progreso y pude continuar sin problemas al tramo final del juego.

Llegando por fin al final, pensé que le darían un poco más de explicación a todo, sin embargo, solamente vemos como los tres personajes, el pequeño, el grandullón y el anciano, logran restaurar el árbol de energía, el cual pasa de ser azul a ser dorado. Tras lo cual el pequeño y el grandullón se desvanecen bajo su sombra, quedando solamente el anciano, y listo, ese es el final. No hay más explicaciones, aunque puedo asumir que los tres eran la versión de un mismo personaje y que en realidad pasó toda su vida intentando escapar de ese lugar y restaurar el árbol sagrado, hasta que por fin lo logra, pero ya como un anciano.

Esa perspectiva es un poco triste, ya que el pobre pasa toda su vida en ese sitio horrendo, sin embargo, esa solo es mi interpretación del final, el cual al no estar explicado, nos brinda la posibilidad de tomarlo como queramos. A pesar de ese final ambiguo y algo agridulce, logré disfrutar la mayor parte del juego, es hermoso visualmente y su música es bastante bonita y relajante, aunque para ser sincera, estoy segura de que no lo volvería a jugar. Aun así, sí lo recomiendo a aquellos que les gusten los juegos atractivos visualmente y que quieran pasar el rato resolviendo acertijos.

We Finally Escaped from the Factory | "Out Of Line" - Gameplay

Hello, #GeekZone friends. Today I bring you the final chapter of my adventure in Out of Line. As you know, this is a game that mixes platforming and puzzles in a very entertaining and original way, in which we must escape from a factory, while getting energy cubes to restore a sacred tree. In this last chapter we meet a new companion, this time it seems to be an old man, as he relies on a kind of stick to walk. He will help us with various puzzles and escape from the murderous clutches.

This final section felt rather boring, there wasn't much excitement or action, in fact, not even the puzzles were challenging. Even the final boss was fairly easy to beat. What I did encounter were several bugs, which made the end of the game feel quite bittersweet, most of them were when the character was supposed to take a chain, which he never did on the first try, even though he was doing everything correctly, but had to try more than five or six times before he could do it. That got me pretty desperate, good thing it wasn't during puzzles that depended on doing something quickly, because I would have definitely given up on the game at that point.

However, the biggest problem of all came in the confrontation with the "final boss", in which you had to activate levers alternately, however, when I defeated the boss, the one I was activating at the time disappeared and my character fell off the platform just as the cinematic of the boss' defeat was about to be activated. At the end of the cinematic the game didn't continue correctly, so I had to exit to the menu and hit continue, luckily none of my progress was lost, and I was able to continue to the final part of the game without any difficulties.

Finally reaching the end, I thought they would give a bit more explanation to everything, however, we only see how the three characters, the little one, the big guy and the old man, manage to restore the energy tree, which turns from blue to gold. After which the little guy and the big guy vanish under its shadow, leaving only the old man, and that's it, that's the end. There are no further explanations, although I can assume that all three were the same version of the same character and that he actually spent his whole life trying to escape from that place and restore the sacred tree, until he finally succeeds, but as an old man.

That perspective is a bit sad, as the poor guy spends his entire life in that horrendous place, however, that's just my interpretation of the ending, which, not being explained, gives us the possibility to take it as we want. Despite that ambiguous and somewhat bittersweet ending, I managed to enjoy most of the game, it's visually beautiful, and the music is quite nice and relaxing, although to be honest, I'm sure I wouldn't play it again. Still, I do recommend it to those who like visually appealing games and want to spend time solving puzzles.
