When we find a brand of coffee that meets all our requirements, we simply become lovers of it, we look for it wherever and no matter the price, since we know we will have a cup of coffee to our liking.

A week or so ago we ran out of coffee and we realized it very late at night, plus my husband noticed when he tried to go out to buy it that he had a flat tire, plus it was raining.

Thanks to all these events my husband was forced to buy another brand of coffee in a place close to home and without having the slightest idea of what we would try, it turned out to be an excellent option, in case we could not find the brand of coffee of our preference.

Before formally starting with the review, I want to make a small preamble of the name of the coffee, in my country Venezuela years ago there was a television program for children in which a Venezuelan singer-songwriter Simón Díaz was the protagonist and was accompanied by four children, this program was very educational and was called Contesta por Tío Simón, hence the name of the Coffee.

Now, as I pointed out, we had our doubts because we did not know if this new brand of coffee would meet our expectations, but the truth is that it surprised us, so here I am going to give you a small review, let's start with its presentation or packaging, although it is true that we cannot judge a book by its cover, a striking, attractive, attractive presentation can attract more buyers, its packaging has brown or brown tones, cream, white and some subtle golden touches, especially in the letters, besides the image of Simón Díaz.

On the other hand, as for the color of the ground coffee, it is brown or light brown, let's say even a little reddish, but that does not imply that the coffee is not of quality, since sometimes when it looks very dark it is because it has been burned and that causes the coffee to taste a little bitter, which is not pleasant.

As for the smell, I don't know if it's because I currently have a bit of an allergy, but I didn't really perceive an aroma that caught me, that made me want to smell it over and over again or that filled the environment with its scent.

Its texture is pleasant and it is not of that type of coffee that is so fine that it ends up clogging the electric coffee pot and turning into a swamp after getting wet, now in terms of flavor it was what surprised me, since I found a strong flavor and sometimes even a bit bit bitter depending on the amount of sugar or how many measures are added to the coffee pot.

Thus, in general terms, Tío Simón coffee has proven to be an excellent option to acquire, since the result after being brewed (prepared) is a coffee with a flavor that will not disappoint anyone, at the moment it only has presentations of 100, 200 and 500 grams.

In summary, sometimes those moments that seem to have escaped from a horror movie and that make us opt for something unknown lead us to discover new and good things that can fulfill our expectations.

Cuando encontramos una marca de café que cumple con todos nuestros requisitos, simplemente nos volvemos amantes de ella, la buscamos donde sea y sin importar el precio, ya que sabemos tomaremos una taza de café a nuestro gusto.

Hace una semana más o menos se acabó el café y nos dimos cuenta muy tarde en la noche, además mi esposo se percató cuando intentó salir a comprar que tenía una llanta espichada, además estaba lloviendo.

Gracias a todos estos acontecimientos mi esposo se vio, digamos que obligado a comprar otra marca de café en un sitio cerca de casa y sin tener la menor idea de que probaríamos, resulto ser una excelente opción, en caso de no encontrar la marca de café de nuestra preferencia.

Antes de comenzar formalmente con la reseña, quiero hacer un pequeño preámbulo del nombre del café, en mi país Venezuela hace años había un programa de televisión para niños en la que un cantautor de música venezolana Simón Díaz era el protagonista y estaba acompañado por cuatro niños, este programa que era muy educativo y se llamaba Contesta por Tío Simón, de allí el nombre del Café.

Ahora bien, como señale, teníamos nuestras dudas porque no sabíamos si esta nueva marca de café cubriría nuestras expectativas, pero la verdad nos sorprendió, así que aquí les voy con una pequeña reseña, comencemos por su presentación o empaque, si bien cierto que no podemos juzgar a un libro por su portada, una presentación llamativa, atractiva, acorde puede atraer más compradores, su empaque cuenta con tonalidades marrones o café, crema, blanco y algunos sutiles toques dorados, sobre todo en las letras, además de la imagen de Simón Díaz.

Por otra parte, en cuanto al color del molido, es marrón o café claro, digamos que hasta un poco rojiza, pero eso no implica que el café no sea de calidad, ya que a veces cuando luce muy oscuro es porque se ha quemado y eso origina que el café sepa un poco amargo, lo que no es agradable.

En cuanto a olor, no sé si se deba a que actualmente tengo un poco de alergia, pero no percibí realmente un aroma que me atrapara, que me hiciera desear olerlo una y otra vez o que llenara el ambiente con su olor.

Su textura es agradable y no es de ese tipo de café que es tan fino que termina tapando la cafetera eléctrica y convertido como en pantano tras mojarse, ahora en cuento a sabor fue lo que me sorprendió, pues encontré un sabor fuerte y hasta a veces un poco amargo dependiendo de la cantidad de azúcar o de que tantas medidas que se agregue a la cafetera.

Así, en líneas generales el café Tío Simón ha demostrado ser una excelente opción para adquirir, ya que el resultado tras ser colado (preparado) es un café con sabor que no decepcionara a nadie, por el momento solo tiene presentaciones de 100, 200 y 500 gramos.

En resumen, a veces esos momentos que parecen haber escapado de una película de terror y que nos hacen optar por algo desconocido nos llevan a descubrir cosas nuevas y buenas que pueden llenar nuestras expectativas.
