Transformers: Rise of the Beasts/ Review [ENG-SPA]
I do not remember exactly how old I was when I first saw a chapter of the famous comic Transformers, what I remember well was that I loved it, it was magical for me to imagine beings like those raised there among us, camouflaged as vehicles, I also remember having a confusion because a similar comic in which instead of vehicles I could see robot-like beings, but this time looking like animals, whose leader was a Gorilla, so imagine my excitement when they began to bring Transformers to the cinema, but the most recent film has revived my hopes for this franchise
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
I want to start by pointing out that one of the last movies in the saga disappointed me a lot and I never saw the one they dedicated entirely to one of the most beloved characters in the saga as is Bumblebee, but when I heard that they were planning to dedicate a new movie to unite these Transformers characters and the Maximals I was in anticipation.
So when I noticed that it was available on the Netflix platform I did not hesitate to take the time to watch it, leaving everything aside and the truth from the start I recommend it because it entertains.
As expected, it gives us a context to introduce the Maximals in the saga explaining how they ended up on earth and who is the villain in this movie, someone very mentioned in the comics, Unicron who is a devourer of planets.
The film is set in the 90's and focuses on a key that the Maximals hid on earth, which is going to give a museum and when activated not only draws the attention of the Transformers, as with it they could return to Cybertron, also the servants of Unicron, who with the key could travel between galaxies and devour countless planets.
Now, the Transformers and the Maximals unite to prevent the key reaches the hands of the Terrorcons, led by Scourge who is the closest servant of Unicron and as usual some humans help them in the task, what catches my attention is how the latest trends in cinema every day there is more presence of other ethnic groups or different religions and cultures, This time we see the participation of a young Afro-descendant woman who works in a museum as an intern, Elena Wallace and also a young Latino, Noah Diaz, an electronics expert who urgently needs to get a job to help pay for the medical treatment of his sick brother.
With this context we can enjoy a film full of action, battles and beautiful landscapes, what I loved the most are the details given to the Maximals are spectacular, especially Airazor who is an eagle, and I can not fail to mention the beautiful places of the chosen location.
On the other hand, as can happen, nothing is perfect and the only criticism I have is that we are left or at least I have questions, where did Unicron come from? Why does Scourge serve him so blindly, if he destroyed his planet? Is Scourge dominated against his will? Plus I would have liked them to delve a little deeper into the origins and life of the Maximals, to name a few things.
In summary, if you are a fan of the fantasy, sci-fi, adventure and action genres or just Transformers, I am sure you will love this movie, as it is packed with action from beginning to end.
No recuerdo exactamente que edad tenía cuando vi por primera vez un capítulo del famoso cómic Transformers, lo que si recuerdo bien era que me encantaba, era mágico para mí imaginar seres como los que planteaban allí entre nosotros, camuflajeados como vehículos, también recuerdo tener una confusión porque un comic similar en el que en lugar de vehículos podía ver seres tipo robot, pero esta vez con aspecto de animales, cuyo líder era un Gorila, así que imaginaran mi emoción cuando comenzaron a llevar al cine Transformers, pero la más reciente película ha revivido mis esperanzas en cuanto a esta franquicia
Transformers: el despertar de las bestias
Quiero comenzar señalando que una de las últimas películas de la saga me decepciono mucho y nunca vi la que dedicaron por completo a uno de los personajes más queridos de la saga como lo es Bumblebee, pero cuando supe que tenían pensado dedicar una nueva película a unir a estos personajes de Transformers y los Maximales estuve a la expectativa.
Así que cuando note que estaba disponible en la plataforma Netflix no dude en tomarse el tiempo para verla, dejando todo de lado y la verdad de entrada la recomiendo porque entretiene.
Como es de esperarse, nos hace un contexto para introducir a los Maximales en la saga explicándonos como fueron a parar a la tierra y quién es el villano en esta película, alguien muy mencionado en los comics, Unicron quien es un devorador de planetas.
La película se ubica en los años 90 y se centra en una llave que los Maximales escondieron en la tierra, la cual va a dar a un museo y al activarse no solo llama la atención de los Transformers, ya que con ella podrían volver a Cybertron, también de los sirvientes de Unicron, quien con la llave podría viajar entre galaxias y devorar infinidad de planetas.
Ahora bien, los Transformers y los Maximales se unen para evitar que la llave llegue a manos de los Terrorcons, liderados por Scourge quien es el sirviente más cercano de Unicron y como de costumbre algunos humanos les ayudan en la tarea, lo que llama mi atención es como las últimas tendencias del cine cada día hay más presencia de otros grupos étnicos o de diferentes religiones y culturas, pues esta vez vemos participar a una joven afrodescendiente que trabaja en un museo como pasante, Elena Wallace y también a un joven latino, Noah Díaz, experto en electrónica quien necesita urgentemente conseguir empleo, para ayudar a costear el tratamiento médico de su hermanito enfermo.
Con este contexto podemos disfrutar una película llena de acción, batallas y paisajes hermosos, lo que más ame son los detalles que dieron a los Maximales son espectaculares, sobre todo a Airazor quien es un águila, y no puedo dejar de mencionar los hermosos lugares de la locación elegida.
Por otra parte, como puede ocurrir, nada es perfecto y la única crítica que tengo es que nos quedan o al menos a mí preguntas, ¿de dónde surgió Unicron? ¿Por qué Scourge le sirve tan ciegamente, si destruyo su planeta? ¿Scourge está dominado en contra de su voluntad? Además de que hubiera gustado profundizaran un poco más en los orígenes y vida de los Maximales, por mencionar algunas cosas.
En resumen, si eres fan de los géneros fantasía, ciencia ficción, aventura y acción o solo de los Transformers, estoy segura de que esta película te encantara, pues está repleta de acción de principio a fin.
