Finally! the day of that special trip that we had planned so much had arrived, everything was ready, we met at the agreed place and began the journey in that beautiful part of WARAIRA REPANO, it would be a nice journey until we arrived to that dreamed village where they were waiting for us to stay.

So we started walking to get to the place, we were happy to see so much nature around us, it was fresh, we could hear the birds singing and we were encouraged, but suddenly we noticed that the sun was no longer shining and the clouds covered the sky and without much delay, the rain began to fall so hard that we had to look for a place to take shelter, but in the middle of nature it was complicated, but as if he knew of our urgency, an old man appeared before us, his face was that of an old man, but at the same time there was a glow in it, something that made him look like someone wise and protective, he invited us to take refuge in his home, before the torrential downpour we immediately accepted.

The old man's hut was incredibly spacious and from the outside it did not seem so, at first we thought that the rain would pass quickly, but it was not so, the night came and the torrential rain did not stop, so the old man reminded us that we were no weight for him, that we could spend the night there without major problems, so we took some things to eat and then warm ourselves by the fireplace of this kind man, after eating, we proposed to tell mysterious stories.

The old man interrupted us and with a kind voice said to us: "Do you want to listen to something very real about these lands? without thinking too much we all sat down to see this gentleman with that particular glow on his face and to listen to the story he would tell us:

In the depths of this hill there is a coffee plant, but not just any coffee, it is sacred coffee, it is said that it was sent to this land by the gods themselves to provide a long life and magical powers to those who have the honor of being guardians of the plant.

Years ago, a young woman named Antonia was deep in the forest, looking for plants and wood for her home, so she found a cave and entered it when she heard a noise, it turned out that the cave was a portal for evil and upon entering it, Antonia inadvertently broke the seal and let out evil spirits that began to cause evil in the region, crops died for no apparent reason, children had nightmares, strange sounds were heard at night and some people had disappeared in a mysterious way.

Desperate and knowing that something had escaped from that place the day she entered it, Antonia prayed to the gods to help her. She prayed to the gods to help her restore peace and balance in her land, so the gods, observing the sincere heart of the young woman, decided to help her, they sent her a precious coffee plant, which was different from all the others, its leaves shone with gold and its seeds looked like rubies, This plant would allow her guardian to prepare the sacred coffee and only her guardian could take it to become a great wizard or witch who could face the dark forces and return them to their world and be the custodian of the plant and the cave for life.

So Antonia accepted this help and took a seed and with only one prepared immediately that sacred coffee and became the first of the Guardians, fought against the evil forces and returned them to their place of origin, sealed the portal and became the first witch and guardian of the cave and the sacred coffee plant, over the years Antonia married and had children one of them being an innocent child took a seed of this coffee and with all his innocence sowed it near another coffee plant.

It is said that this is how the delicious Venezuelan coffee was born, so good that once you try it you cannot stop drinking it every morning, since you miss its smell and taste, being necessary for every Venezuelan a cup of coffee in the morning.
