On the other hand, my work as an animal lover has shown me that both dogs and cats that have suffered mistreatment can also be very nervous or fearful. In Cristopher's case, he hated the broom, that made me think seriously, that he was beaten or kicked out of certain places of what was his home with brooms.

Now then, what is all this talk about, yesterday while I was doing some gardening transplanting some jades to other pots, I saw for the second time a kitten or kitten that I had seen the night before, but being daylight I could see that he is very thin and afraid, but his hunger overcame his fear, because he came close enough to eat a little bit of cat food that I gave him.

While this little ball of fur was eating, I tried to get closer to pet him and maybe get out of the doubt of his sex, but the only time I managed to get a little closer this little animal became exaggeratedly alert, his ears were placed backwards, his tail was fluffed, his eyes did not stop looking at me and he snorted, In a few words he was ready to attack me if I approached or if he felt a little more threatened, when I got a little closer and saw him in the daylight I realized that he has beautiful blue eyes, but also that he has strabismus, his color is gray with stripes, in a few words he is a tabby Siamese.

Los gatitos suelen ser animales muy reservados sobre todo los que viven en la calle, esto tiene un motivo o razón de ser, al estar en las calles deben estar alertas, ya que están expuestos a constantes peligros, como por ejemplo un perro que los pueda atacar, otro gato que pelee por territorio, algún animal que los vea como presas, en fin, uno de sus mecanismos de defensa es estar alertas y ser desconfiados, por eso muchas veces uno desea acariciarlos y ellos se alejan cuando nos ven acercarnos y por lo mismo es tan difícil atrapar algún gatito bebé y hasta un adulto al que uno desee resguardar o darle hogar.

Por otro lado, mi labor como animalista, me ha mostrado que tanto perros como gatos que han sufrido de maltrato también pueden ser muy nerviosos o miedosos. En el caso de Cristopher, él odiaba la escoba, eso me hizo pensar seriamente, que a él lo golpeaban o echaban de ciertos lugares de la que era su casa a escobazos.

Ahora bien, ¿a qué viene toda esta charla?, el día de ayer mientras hacía un poco de jardinería trasplantando unos jades a otras macetas, vi por segunda vez un gatito o gatita que había visto la noche anterior, pero al ser de día pude apreciar que está muy delgado y tiene miedo, pero su hambre superaba su temor, pues se acercó lo suficiente para comerse un poquito de alimento para gatos que le di.

Mientras esta bolita de pelos comía, Intente acercarme para acariciarle y tal vez salir de la duda de su sexo, pero la única vez que logre acercarme un poco este animalito se puso exageradamente alerta, sus orejas las coloco hacia atrás, su cola se esponjó, sus ojos no dejaban de mirarme y me bufo, en pocas palabras estaba dispuesto a atacarme si me acercaba o si se llegaba a sentir un poco más amenazado, al acercarme un poco más y verlo a la luz del día me permitió percatarme de que tiene unos lindos ojos azules, pero también que tiene estrabismo su color es podríamos decir gris con rayas, en pocas palabras es un siamés tabby.

Hoy cuando le volví a ver en los jardines le di de comer unos corazones de pollo y pude de nuevo ver su lindo color de pelaje, sus ojos y como le lanza amenazas a mis gatos cuando ellos se le acercan para olerle, parece que les gritara ¡aléjate de mí, anda a olfatearle el trasero a otro!
