Star Wars: Visions/ Review
On many occasions I have mentioned that I am a lover of the fantasy genre, one of my favorite sagas that touches that theme as well as science fiction, adventure, among others is Star Wars, I remember that as a child I was simply in love with Luke Skywalker.
I saw with excitement the remastering of chapters IV, V and VI and logically went to the movies to see the rest of the films, but the arrival of streaming channels with series that has filled to call it somehow the gaps and has enlightened us in many scenarios of these elements has fascinated us fans, there is a very particular series that deeply called my attention, although it has no correlation between one chapter and another, its name:
Star Wars: Visions
What is interesting and at the same time can be a bit irritating and desperate is that each chapter tells you a unique story of which you will not know anything else, plus each chapter has a different animation.
One of the chapters that catches you is the first one, because the animation is in black and white and it was set in medieval Japan, although we can see an astro droid of the same type as R2-D2, among other features that place us within the Star Wars universe, so in this chapter we see a Ronin, a Samurai without master, who arrives at a village and after his arrival soon after a group of bandits, there he decides to intervene and has a duel with a Sith Lady.
These chapters have as I mentioned with different themes and animations, this is because each chapter was directed by different directors, on the other hand, the first season was produced by different Japanese animation studios and has 9 chapters, we know that in Japan there is an industry seriously dedicated to animation, I am a fan of anime, although I have time without seeing any outside of streaming platforms.
In the case of the second season, which has the same as the first with 9 chapters, but here the creation, production and direction went through countries such as South Africa, Chile, Spain, Ireland, United Kingdom, India, France, USA, Japan and South Korea.
This creation, although different and new, is faithful to the Star Wars universe in terms of theme and identity, but is not contained within the traditional and being, as I mentioned each of its so far 18 chapters, unique leaves you with a great curiosity or even anger to know what happened before or what would happen next with certain characters or stories. The music did not fascinate me in some cases, but it is totally different from what we are used to hear in this universe, maybe that's why my apparent rejection, but being something different and out of the ordinary is well thought out.
We see stories of lonely characters, families, children, even droids with names similar to characters of the saga, but I call my attention how we see the presence of many Sith, of which we really do not know much, because after establishing the rule of two, there is only one master and one apprentice, or is that how it should be, if you are a fan of the saga you will understand me otherwise you have to investigate.
Finally, if you are a lover of good animation and want to see some very good animations, diversity of styles, characters, places and more, this series that so far has 2 seasons is for you, some chapters are more moving than others and I think it is simply a matter of taste that each person may like some more than others, but it is an option for those who love this saga, but knowing that many of its chapters are not located within the Star Wars timeline.
En muchas oportunidades les he mencionado que soy amante del género fantasía, una de mis sagas favoritas que toca ese tema al igual que el de ciencia ficción, aventura, entre otros es Star Wars, recuerdo que de niña estaba simplemente enamorada de Luke Skywalker.
Vi con emoción la remasterización de los capítulos IV, V y VI y lógicamente fui al cine a ver el resto de las películas, pero la llegada de los canales streaming con series que ha llenado por llamarlo de alguna manera los vacíos y nos ha ilustrado en muchos escenarios de estos elementos nos ha fascinado a los fanáticos, hay una serie muy particular que llamo profundamente mi atención, aunque no posee una correlación entre un capítulo y otro, su nombre:
Star Wars: Visions
Lo interesante y que al mismo tiempo puede resultar un poco irritante y desesperante es que cada capítulo te cuenta una historia única de la cual no sabrás nada más, además de que cada capítulo cuenta con una animación diferente.
Uno de los capítulos que te atrapa es el primero, pues la animación es en blanco y negro y lo ambientaron en el Japón medieval, aunque podemos ver un astro droide del mismo tipo que R2-D2, entre otras características que nos ubican dentro del universo Star Wars, así en este capítulo vemos un Ronin, un Samurái sin amo, que llega a un pueblo y tras su llegada al poco tiempo arriba un grupo de bandidos, allí él decide intervenir y tiene un duelo con una Dama Sith.
Estos capítulos cuentan como mencione con diferentes temáticas y animaciones, esto se debe a que cada capítulo fue dirigido por diferentes directores, por otro lado, la primera temporada fue producida por diferentes estudios de animación japonesa y cuenta con 9 capítulos, sabemos que en Japón hay una industria dedicada seriamente a la animación, yo soy fan del anime, aunque tengo tiempo sin ver alguno fuera de las plataformas streaming.
En el caso de la segunda temporada que cuenta al igual que la primera con 9 capítulos, pero aquí la creación, producción y dirección paso por países como Sudáfrica, Chile, España, Irlanda, Reino Unido, India, Francia, EEUU, Japón y Corea del Sur.
Esta creación, aunque diferente y nueva, es fiel al universo de Star Wars en cuanto a tema y la identidad, pero no está contenida dentro de lo tradicional y al ser, como ya mencioné cada uno de sus hasta ahora 18 capítulos, único te deja una gran curiosidad o hasta rabia de saber qué ocurrió antes o qué pasaría después con ciertos personajes o historias. La música no me fascino en algunos casos, pero es totalmente diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados a escuchar en este universo, tal vez por eso mi aparente rechazo, pero al ser algo diferente y fuera de lo común está bien pensado.
Vemos historias de personajes solitarios, familias, niños, incluso droides con nombres parecidos a personajes de la saga, pero llamo mi atención el cómo vemos la presencia de muchos Sith, de los que en realidad no sabemos mucho, pues tras establecerse la regla de los dos, solo hay un maestro y un aprendiz, o es así como debería ser, si eres fan de la saga me entenderás de lo contrario te toca investigar.
Por último, si eres amante de la buena animación y deseas ver unas muy buenas animaciones, diversidad de estilos, personajes, lugares y más, esta serie que hasta ahora tiene 2 temporadas es para ti, algunos capítulos son más movidos que otros y creo que simplemente es cuestión de gustos el que a cada persona le pueden gustar unos más que otros, pero es una opción para los que amamos esta saga, pero sabiendo que muchos de sus capítulos no se ubican dentro de la línea de tiempo de Star Wars.

Todo lo que tenga que ver con Star wars me fascina bastante aunque últimamente Las series que han sacado han sido bastante buenas tratando de recuperar lo que se había perdido, saludos.
Te recomiendo esta serie , vela pasaras unas cuantas horas entretenido.
Me encanta Visions, tener historias alternativas manteniendo la esencia de Star Wars es fabuloso. A mí se me quedo mucho el episodio tres, el de Los Gemelos. Hace poquito me compré una figura de Karre, por lo mucho que me gustó el personaje, espero pronto conseguir la de Am. Gracias por compartir tu opinión con respecto a esta gran serie animada.
Ese episodio es muy llamativo, las naves gemelas y también me gusto como el gemelo aun siendo criado en el lado oscuro sintió que ese no era su lugar, la verdad hay muchos episodios interesantes en esta serie.
