Rain, Coffee and Cats
To drink coffee is to warm our body, it is to relax and also to cheer us up, it is to spend a few minutes savoring a drink that makes us feel so good, I remember that a few years ago I heard a neighbor mention a phrase that was engraved in my mind, but to understand her words I must illustrate or describe the atmosphere of the moment.
It was a rainy day, one of those days in which it seems that the rain will never end, which makes the weather cold and often makes us sleepy, she in one of the moments in which she came home, I do not know if to bring something or to look for, but among the things she mentioned she said:
-the day is like to drink coffee and sleep, sleep and drink coffee.
The phrase she created, stayed stuck in my mind more for her expression than for anything else, because it was of true happiness and satisfaction, just imagining the possibility, at that moment I don't drink coffee and even so I noticed how happy she looked at the possibility, now that I do drink it I understand her perfectly.
To drink coffee is to warm our body, to fill us with spirit and I believe that for many there is nothing more delicious than drinking coffee during rainy days or while it rains, it is so rich to listen to the rain, to fall, to feel the smell of wet earth and to feel the taste of coffee in our mouth and also that smell of freshly brewed coffee.
For me I think this is largely due to the fact that I live in a place that I never tire of calling privileged, I live in the city, but in an urbanization where there are many green areas, even many birds and animals, we once enjoyed for a few days the visit of a porcupine.
So I can enjoy during rainy days my coffee in two ways, one sitting on my living room sofa watching and listening to the rain, falling or leaning out my window watching the drops wet everything around. Besides, it's very likely that one of my cats will sit next to me looking for warmth and company, so it couldn't be better.
For me, coffee is enjoyable in any pleasant environment and in any weather, with or without company, but when the rain falls I feel that it is special, cozy, especially if I am at home, because one wants to feel warmth, comfort and for that nothing better than a nice cup of good coffee.
In closing, without a doubt, I enjoy coffee even more during rainy days, so I say goodbye to my participation in the #STB 52 a hug to everyone and may you also enjoy your coffee wherever you are.

Yes, drinking coffee on those rich rainy days is spectacular, and even more so if you are in the Venezuelan Andes. The combination of coffee, cold, and rain causes a divine sensation you will never forget.

Drinking coffee while it's pouring rain is a grandiose feeling. It gets even better when you're seated by the fireplace, wearing long socks to protect you from the cold, and cradling a hot cup of coffee in your hands.

I love rainy days, if I'm at home it's not the same, watching the rain from the window of my house to being on the street getting wet, watching the rain from the window sipping a nice coffee is great.
Right dear, coffee is good, but to be the best version of drinking coffee is when we sip during the rain. Everything great when we discovered their suitable combo.
So it is surrounded by the things we like coffee is even better.
I had this situation before my current place. Second floor home with a kind of catwalk balcony over 20m long which I planted cherry tomatoes, beans, potatoes, sunflowers (over 9 feet tall in pots!!) and more. The balcony overlooked a private bamboo garden with a cherry blossom tree right outside my door which I could watch the birds and squirrels from my bed with the door open. It was a paradise for my cats, safe from the outsiders, they could jump down to the bottom and sunbathe, since it was always closed
Damn... but the apartment was too small to have my fiance move in so now I live in a dystopian, crappy, construction-infested building surrounded by more construction and cars. But hey, it's bigger. sigh.
We are always so fortunate to get such a precious pocket of nature in a big city.

It's a great thing to have hot coffee when it rains, it makes our body warmth during cold days. I did the same thing as you do.

Coffee is truly enjoyable in any whether but seriously, it is most enjoyable when it's raining, I even lack words to describe it, maybe the best I can say is, it's like heaven on earth hehe.
When talking about rain or wet earth the first thing that comes to my mind is the smell of earth, that's why I can't stop mentioning it, at home I can see the rain falling in the gardens from my window while I drink a delicious coffee.
