Last week I discovered that I am dangerous when I go to buy pots to transplant or sow new plants, on Saturday I asked my husband to take me to the store where I have bought, as it has diversity in pots in terms of colors, shapes, sizes, material and at a good price, what I enjoy most is to see all the variety of colors and shapes, since they usually place the pots by colors and obviously although one sees, for example the green ones, there are different shades of that color and so is the case with the blue, pink, gray and stop counting.

In theory I had planned to buy two pots, one to transplant a plant that although it has been with me for years I still do not know its name and two others to have in reserve just in case, sometimes you have the opportunity to plant something and you do not have a pot at hand as it happened to me recently.

So I ended up buying 4 pots in pink tones, the reason I want to change some of the plants I have in my setup to pots with this color to make a better contrast and introduce this color in the palette of that environment that is still under construction, in the end I ended up giving one of the pots to a friend who gave me a bag of soil for my plants, so I have no pictures of that model.

Now, in the biggest pot, which is of a tone like old rose, I transplanted the bush whose name I don't know, as I already mentioned at the beginning of the publication, because I noticed a few weeks ago that it has given so many branches that the pot in which it was already small for it to the point that a couple of branches came out of root which I took advantage of to make a gift to someone who wanted one of these plants.

Actually, I wanted a less tall pot, but wider, but I did not find one, so I bought this one and I think it is perfect, now the plant is much heavier than before, of course there is more soil in this pot, but I love that this model of pot the same as the other two I bought have a system in which the plate that collects the excess water is attached to the pot, it can be removed to clean or remove the excess, but there is no risk of it falling to the ground or getting lost.

In the same way, I also took the opportunity to separate some mother-in-law tongue plants that my mother had planted, I brought one home and dried three more, I will give some of them to some friends, I believe that the beautiful things that life gives us, such as plants should surround us in our environments, especially in our home, I have a friend who didn't even have a plant and now that she is into feng shui and how it includes plants, I have managed to get her to accept some plants for example, for her birthday I gave her a jade and now I will give her one of this mother-in-law's tongue and one of the succulents that I planted.

Finally, I hope to share with you in future publications the progress of the succulents I transplanted, because they all look beautiful and even have new leaves and my vine, which I thought was dead, was saved, that makes me happy because it is the beginning of a project I have in mind which is in the medium term and without the plant I could not do it. La semana pasada descubrí, que soy peligrosa al ir a comprar macetas para trasplantar o sembrar nuevas plantas, el sábado le pedí a mi esposo me llevara a la tienda donde he comprado, ya que tiene diversidad en macetas en cuanto colores, formas, tamaños, material y a buen precio, lo que más disfruto es ver toda la variedad de colores y formas, puesto que suelen colocar las macetas por colores y obviamente aunque uno vea, por ejemplo las verdes, hay diferentes tonalidades de ese color y así ocurre con las azules, rosa, grises y pare de contar.

En teoría yo tenía pensado comprar dos macetas, una para trasplantar una planta que aunque tiene años conmigo todavía desconozco su nombre y otras dos para tener de reserva por si acaso, a veces se presenta la oportunidad de sembrar algo y no se tiene una maceta a la mano como me ocurrió recientemente.

Así terminé comprando 4 macetas en tonos rosas, la razón quiero cambiar algunas de las plantas que tengo en mi setup a macetas con este color para hacer un mejor contraste e introducir este color en la paleta de ese ambiente que todavía se encuentra en proceso de construcción, al final termine regalando una de las macetas a una amiga que me obsequio una bolsa de tierra para mis plantas, por ello no tengo fotografías de ese modelo.

Ahora bien, en la maceta más grande, que es de un tono como rosa vieja, trasplante la mata cuyo nombre desconozco, como ya mencioné al comienzo de la publicación, porque note hace unas semanas que ha dado tantas ramas que la maceta en la que se encontraba ya estaba pequeña para ella al punto de que salieron de raíz un par de ramas las cuales aproveche para hacerle un regalo a alguien que quería una planta de estas.

En realidad, yo quería una maceta menos alta, pero más ancha, pero no encontré, así que compre esta y me parece quedo perfecta, ahora la planta pesa mucho más que antes, claro hay más tierra en esta maceta, pero me encanta que este modelo de maceta la igual que otras dos que compre poseen un sistema en el que el plato que recolecta el agua sobrante está adherido a la maceta, se puede retirar para limpiar o quitar el exceso, pero no se corre el riesgo de que caiga al suelo o se extravíe.

De la misma manera, aproveche también para separar algunas plantas de lengua de suegra que había sembrado mi madre, traje una a casa y seque tres más, regalaré algunas de ellas a algunos amigos, creo que las cosas lindas que nos da la vida, como las plantas deben rodearnos en nuestros ambientes, sobre todo en nuestro hogar, tengo una amiga que no tenía ni una planta y ahora que anda en una onda del feng shui y como en este se incluye a las plantas, por allí he logrado que acepte algunas plantas por ejemplo, por su cumpleaños le regale un jade y ahora le regalaré una de esta lengua de suegra y una de las suculentas que plante.

Por último, espero compartir con ustedes en próximas publicaciones los avances de las suculentas que trasplante, pues todas lucen bellas y ya hasta traen hojas nuevas y mi enredadera, a la que creía muerta, se salvó, eso me tiene feliz porque es el comienzo de un proyecto que tengo en mente el cual es a mediano plazo y sin la planta no podría hacerlo.
