Cats and gardening
After reading the proposal for this week 6 of gardening, I was delighted, since on more than one occasion I have shared in my publications a photograph of my kittens keeping me company or of metiches supervising my work and even ruining it.
As I am already on vacation, I have been able to finish off my gardening work, for example I was able to plant what survived of the cactus that I had at home that died suddenly and very ugly, some of them were saved and I had put them on the ground to dry and indeed they gave roots, that let me know that they could be saved, so I planted them and they are in one of the windows to get some sun.
On the other hand, one of the indoor plants, the cockroach, had become very ugly, I had to replant new cuttings and I have been very careful with the watering, since being a closed pot I must be careful not to overdo it, yesterday I placed it for a while in the window so that it could take advantage of the water from the rains.
As you will notice in this opportunity, the only one of my cats that deigned to keep me company during these labors was Kapüy. It is most likely because she used to spend a lot of time with my mother when she was gardening, so she feels at home in this place.
First she came to walk with me in the gardens and then she accompanied me in the short work I did, but she stayed there until I finished and she seemed happy to be there, she even asked for my love.
On the other hand, you will remember my Jades, the first one was a trial and error experience, but now I have three, two of them in the window of my room and as you can see there was Rusa sunbathing, I can not fail to mention that the position of the plants there is strategic, it has a purpose, the reason is that the birds pass through there and my cats try to catch them or so they think and they have damaged plants.
Behind those two jades there is a pot that contains a bulb of a zamioculca that I transplanted badly and damaged its leaves so I left the pot there with the hope that in the future it will give new leaves, I know that it will take time, because I know that this plant takes its time, I already proved it with my first zamioculca silver.
In short, I have resumed one of my favorite activities. I used to just walk around the garden to observe growth or water the plants, but now I can do a little more and in the company of my cats, thus ends my participation in Week 6 garden theme: Animals!

What beautiful cats, I love the black and white one with that spot under his mouth, he looks like he's surprised haha 😂❤️
She is Kapüy she looks like she has a chin and I was practically forcing her to take the picture, that's why she had that face. Thanks so much for stopping by to comment @elbuhito .
What a lovely post. It's clear you love your cat and it keeps you good company whilst gardening!
We support gardening, homesteading, cannabis growers, permaculture and other garden related content. Delegations to the curation account, @gardenhive, are welcome! Keep an eye out for our weekly writing prompts and our monthly #gardenjournal challenge on the 1st of each month.
Kapüy was rescued in a parking lot, she is very dear, just like her four adopted siblings, but she usually accompanies me if I do gardening, she also accompanied my mother. We could say that she is a gardening kitty.
aw! your garden cats are so cute! What nice companions to the garden chores.
My cats are the best company at all times.
