Mein Arbeitstag war heute super lang. Es ist jetzt nach 0 Uhr, und ich bin gerade erst im Hotel angekommen.

Nach der Arbeit sind wir mit ein paar Kollegen noch richtig gut essen gegangen – ein 4-Gänge-Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Die Portionen waren zwar super klein, aber das Essen war richtig gut. Ich als Feinkost-Genießer habe das natürlich total gefeiert… nein, Spaß beiseite – ich vermisse meinen Döner. Ich bin echt ein Banause.

Trotzdem war es ein richtig schöner Abend mit guten Gesprächen. Jetzt bin ich aber einfach nur noch müde.

Dafür habe ich heute über 12.000 Schritte gemacht, was ich extrem feiere! Also heute war doch recht viel Bewegung dabei. Morgen geht es für mich wieder Richtung Heimat – und dann ist auch schon Karnevalszeit. Darauf freue ich mich richtig! Ich kann nicht garantieren, dass ich in den nächsten Tagen posten werde, aber Karneval wird auf jeden Fall gefeiert.

My workday was insanely long today. It’s past midnight now, and I just arrived at my hotel.

After work, we went out for an amazing dinner with a few colleagues—4 courses with wine pairing. The portions were super small, but the food was absolutely delicious. As a true fine dining connoisseur, I obviously loved it… Just kidding—I really miss my döner. I’m such a simple eater.

But still, it was a really nice evening with great conversations. Now I’m just completely exhausted.

At least I got over 12,000 steps in today, which I’m really happy about! So, there was quite a bit of movement. Tomorrow, I’m heading back home—and then it’s Carnival time! I’m really looking forward to it. I can’t promise I’ll be posting much in the next few days, but I will definitely be celebrating.

Wie sieht es mit den Kalorien aus?

Ich habe heute bewusst aufs Tracking verzichtet, weil ich nicht genau sagen kann, was in diesem fancy Essen alles drin war.

Morgens gab es ein richtig ausgiebiges Frühstück im Hotel:

  • Rührei
  • Ein Brötchen
  • Kleine Mini-Wiener Würstchen
  • Fruchtsalat mit Kirschjoghurt
  • …und noch ein paar andere Kleinigkeiten

Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass ich trotzdem mein Kalorienziel nicht erreicht habe, weil die Portionen am Abend einfach sehr klein waren.

What about the calories?

I didn’t track my food today because I have no idea what exactly was in that fancy dinner.

For breakfast, I had a nice big hotel meal:

  • Scrambled eggs
  • A bread roll
  • Small mini sausages
  • Fruit salad with cherry yogurt
  • …and a few other little things

I have a feeling I still didn’t hit my calorie goal today since the dinner portions were really small.

It would then be a great idea for a Hive user to make at least two separate secure backups of the private keys of every Hive account (especially the owner key which is used only when changing other private keys) and choose a recovery account which are unlikely to get compromised and whose owner knows you. 🧘‍♂️🤓 !HOPE !INDEED !WEIRD !DIY

A recovery account of a Hive account will serve as the last line of defense in case a Hive account's owner keys got stolen and changed. 🤓 The recovery account can either be the same user's another Hive account, or a Hive account owned by another person altogether. 😏 The recovery process must be initiated 30 days when the Hive account's private keys got changed for the first time (so no matter how many times the keys get changed within the 30-day period, it's okay). 😅 !INDEED !HOPE

Using the recovery account is also helpful when the user just changed their own Hive account's private keys and forgot to save their new keys. 🤓 The same 30-day limit applies. 😏 !WEIRD !DIY

It's of course your own Hive account's private owner key to be supplied on the #PeakD account permissions page to change your Hive account's recovery key. 🤔 It would be very !WEIRD !INDEED if you need to get another (person's) Hive account's private owner key just to be able to set it as a recovery account for your own Hive account. 🤯😅 !DIY

Just make sure that whenever you need to put your Hive account's private owner key, you are at the correct website (such as https://peakd.com/@svanbo/permissions or https://ecency.com/@svanbo/permissions in this case). 🤗🤓 !HOPE

Anyway, I just noticed that your current recovery account doesn't hasn't published any post or comment since September 29, 2020 (about 4.5 years ago), so even if that account still actively makes curation and transfers, I would still recommend that you change it to someone else that you trust (both that they would be willing to help you recover your account, and is knowledgeable enough to keep their own account safe and assist you in the process). 🤗🤓 !HOPE !INDEED !WEIRD !DIY

It might become a huge problem if both your own Hive account as well as the Hive account of either your son or your daughter got compromised at the same time, especially since you manage all three Hive accounts at the same time. 🤯 You can still use all Hive accounts on the same devices, but make sure the owner key of your recovery account is somewhere safe from both loss and unauthorized access. 🤓 !HOPE !INDEED !PIZZA !DIY
