1000 Hive powered up 5 months in a row
When I set my targets at the end of 2022, I was aware that it would be challenging to reach them. I'm still struggling to keep up with the speed defined by these goals but I'm also quite happy to see that I'm not far behind!
Again 1000 Hive powered up
At the beginning of each month, I try to force myself to power up 1000 Hive. I'm very pleased that I have managed to do that for the 5th month consecutively. But even with these power up's, I'm behind my goals...
So far 120 days of this year have passed, which represents 32.8 % of the 365 days which make a year. This means that in terms of my goals, I should also have achieved 32.8 % of the progress in HBD and Hive Power:

When I look at Hive Power, I can see that I'm only slightly behind my target. Only 1.5% separates me from where I should be today. I believe that I can compensate that easily thanks to compounding effects towards the end of the year. If I manage to go on powering up 1000 HP every month... which comes with a big question mark.
My growth from author and curation rewards represented 554 HP this month. I created 10 posts in May, which is about average.
I managed to generate 1000 Hive for my power up by selling some Splinterlands Cards and also from selling some tokens from other blockchains.
367 HBD more than last month
I'm quite far behind my goals regarding HBD, about 6.4% to be precise. This will be very difficult to compensate. About 50% of the HBD income comes from interest payments. The rest is generated through author rewards and also through buying of HBD. I have a feeling that it will be much more difficult to reach my HBD goals this year...

Happy HPUD and nice progress. I only powered up 10 Hive because I am slightly ahead of what I need towards my goals. I didn't see the need to power up so much Hive.

That's an amazing amount. I almost only always power up just 10 HIVE at the beginning of every month just for HPUD. I do let my staked Hive Power accumulate from my posts every month though. I've been doing that since I got started on HIVE and until I can reliably build up a constant flow of revenue from games like Splinterlands, that will be my continued strategy.
It took me several years and a lot of efforts to reach this stage but the way you are doing is exactly how I did it in the past as well. The longer you play this game, the bigger your power ups will be :-)
Congratulations to you, this is a very good achievement, you have worked very hard to achieve this. I also tried the same earlier to continue powering all the HBD, but due to the down time in Pakistan, I have to spend it.
I'm sorry to hear that you have to use your hbd but the good thing is that with every comment and every post, you build your stakes again :-)

That's true and that is if you only calculate the organic growth of your hive power. To that you can add about 7.5 hive from curation rewards. So it's definitely worth to power up ;-)

I would say that this depends a lot on the HIVE price... If we see HIVE over 60-70c, you could sell some to get HBD... It's not impossible that we will see that... maybe close to the end of the year...
