Good or bad sleeping habits have a tremendous impact on our daily creativity and productivity. The main idea of the book is to help the reader set smart goals for themselves each day and inspire them to be consistent with them. The idea is simple but effective. Basically, it is about planning 1 ½ hrs at the beginning of each day to raise our physical and mental energy – which in turn will set the tone for the rest of the day -. The main idea is to dedicate that time to an activity or habit that has the greatest impact on our lives.
Everyone decides when their day begins. According to that, everyone must decide at what time to go to sleep to get enough sleep and thus get up early. That way we can focus on our morning routine. The author recommends 1 ½ hrs; but definitely not less than 45 minutes. For this, it is necessary to act according to our values and the habits that we want to strengthen, that is, those that should have priority in our lives today. But everything does not end there, because once we discover where we should focus, we must give structure to the strategy and plan in advance so that our day is effective.
The book is full of good advice for the reader to implement their own morning routine. The book includes a good section with tips to improve our sleep. The need to rest intelligently is emphasized, which implies being disciplined. Things like eating properly before bed, dealing with electronic devices sensibly, and activities before going to bed play a major role in the quality of our sleep. The book also includes advice so that our awakening is pleasant and we can start the day on the right foot.
In my opinion, the central message of the book lies in the importance of investing time and resources that can enable us to develop our personal and professional lives. Resting well is the beginning, but knowing how to wake up is vital if we want to be effective with our resources. 15 minutes of daily exercise, plus a healthy breakfast is a good start. As I said before, the tone of the book is that we spend an hour each day building ourselves up. For me, for example, it is important to dedicate a space to my personal time with God, half an hour of sports, reading or listening to a good book, improving my Blog, practicing Saxophone, and definitely writing something every day. These activities are the ones that will have the greatest impact on my future.

Los malos o buenos hábitos de dormir tienen un impacto tremendo en nuestra creatividad y productividad diaria. La idea principal del libro es ayudar al lector a establecer para si mismo metas inteligentes para cada día e inspirarlo a ser consistente con ellas. La idea es simple, pero efectiva. Básicamente se trata de planear 1 ½ hrs. al principio de cada día para elevan nuestra energía física y mental – lo cual establecerá el tono para el resto de día. La idea principal es dedicar una hora a una actividad o hábito que ejerce el mayor impacto en nuestras vidas.
Cada quien decide cuando comienza su día. De acuerdo a eso cada quien debe decidir a que hora hay que ir a dormir para dormir lo suficiente y así levantarse temprano. De esa forma podremos enfocarnos en nuestra rutina matutina. El autor recomienda 1 ½ hrs.; pero definitivamente no menos de 45 minutos. Para ello es necesario actuar de acuerdo a nuestros valores y los hábitos que queremos fortalecer, es decir, aquellos que deben tener prioridad en nuestras vidas actualmente. Pero ahí no termina todo sino que una vez que descubramos en donde debemos enfocarnos, hay que darle estructura a la estrategia y planear por adelantado para que nuestro día sea efectivo.
El libro está lleno de buenos consejos para que el lector pueda implementar su propia rutina matutina. El libro incluye una buena sección con consejos para mejorar nuestro sueño. Se enfatiza la necesidad de descansar inteligentemente, lo cual implica ser disciplinado. Cosas como comer adecuadamente antes de dormir, bregar con aparatos electrónicos prudentemente y actividades antes de ir a la cama juegan un papel primordial en la calidad de nuestro sueño. El libro incluye también consejos para que nuestro despertar sea placentero y podamos comenzar el día con el pie derecho.
En mi opinión el mensaje central del libro radica en la importancia de invertir tiempo y recursos en aquello que nos permite avanzar en nuestra vida personal y profesional. Descansar bien es el comienzo, pero saber como despertar es vital si queremos ser efectivos con nuestros recursos. 15 minutos diarios de ejercicio, además de un desayuno saludable son suficientes. Como lo dije antes, el tono del libro es que le dediquemos una hora diaria a edificarnos a nosotros mismos. Para mi, por ejemplo, es importante dedicar un espacio a mi tiempo personal con Dios, media hora de deporte, leer o escuchar un buen libro, mejorar mi Blog, practicar Saxofón y definitivamente escribir algo todos los días. Estas actividades son las que tendrán el mayor impacto en mi futuro.

- Hay que evitar cambiar varios hábitos a la vez
- Fomentar un hábito para nuestra rutina matutina

Yes, drinking a glass of lukewarm water is very good. I put a tablespoon of organic homemade vinegar in my glass, and drink it 45 minutes before breakfast.

Until recently I was also very active in the late hours of the day. That was until I learned how important for hour body, soul and spirit is to sleep well, and during the right hours of the day.

The book surely has a lot to teach. For real, how we start our day shows how that day will turn out for us. Having a daily routine of habits which are easy to meet is important. Consistency is also vital. I hope to search for the book and learn more. Nice review
