The Daily Grind: My Journey to Consistent Content Creation

A few days ago, I made a decision to publish daily on the Hive Blockchain. I'm almost at the end of my first seven days, and it has been an interesting journey so far. It has been demanding, as I've faced obstacles such as tiredness and the pressure to stay creative, among others.

Hace unos días tomé la decisión de publicar diariamente en la Hive Blockchain. Estoy casi al final de mi primera semana, y hasta ahora ha sido una jornada interesante. Ha sido demandante, ya que me he enfrentado a obstáculos como el cansancio y la presión de mantener la creatividad, entre otros.

Nevertheless, two things have kept me motivated. The first is my commitment to being faithful to my goal of publishing something with value every day. The second is the feedback I've received now and then from those who watch and listen to my podcast or read my posts, which has been incredibly encouraging.

No obstante, dos cosas me han mantenido motivado. La primera es mi compromiso de ser fiel a mi objetivo de publicar algo de valor todos los días. La segunda es el feedback que he recibido de vez en cuando de aquellos que ven y escuchan mi podcast o leen mis publicaciones, lo cual ha sido increíblemente alentador.

As we head into the weekend, I want to thank you all for taking the time for my content, and at the same time, I want to encourage you to stay creative and keep on creating good quality content. But above all, I want to emphasize the importance of building community because it is through our connections with others that we find the most meaning and fulfillment in our work.

Mientras nos acercamos al fin de semana, quiero agradecerles a todos por tomarse el tiempo de leer mi contenido, y al mismo tiempo, quiero animarlos a mantener la creatividad y a seguir creando contenido de buena calidad. Pero sobre todo, quiero enfatizar la importancia de construir una comunidad, ya que a través de nuestras conexiones con los demás encontramos el mayor significado y satisfacción en nuestro trabajo.

Some of the folks I admire most on HIVE have done quite well for themselves by having consistency for a few years. Sure, it's hard work, but it pays off.

The hivebuzz badge is a motivation, it wasn't my main motivation. However, now I'm motivated to aim for the next 30-day badge. I usually post every other day, but my long term goal is to post Monday through Friday a daily Podcast. Wish me luck!

I challenged my self just to get into the routine and discipline of creating. Now that I'm about to get the @hivebuzz badge for posting 7 days in a row, I'm motivated to go for the 30-day badge. The challenge is not posting but creating and posting something of value. My goal is to achieve both.

You should try to go for seven days and then see what happen. You can do it! 😄

Aparecer todos los días se hace duro al principio, como cada vez que instauramos un hábito nuevo. Yo voy camino de los tres meses desde que tomé la misma decisión y no puedo estar más satisfecha. ¡Ahora es casi una necesidad escribir!

Aunque tengamos claras nuestras inclinaciones todos necesitamos un largo tiempo para encontrar el lugar en el que encajamos mejor.

Un consejo no solicitado: si por lo que sea un día no pudieras publicar, ¡nada de fustigarte! Recuerda que es una elección, no una obligación. 😘🤗

Yo voy camino de los tres meses desde que tomé la misma decisión y no puedo estar más satisfecha. ¡Ahora es casi una necesidad escribir!

¡Wow! ¿Tres meses? Felicidades y mis respetos. Pero tienes razón, todo al comienzo es difícil, pero con el paso del tiempo las cosas se vuelven parte de nuestras vidas.

Lo único que en ocasiones encuentro desalentador es no saber si alguien realmente escucha o ve mis Podcast. Es bonito recibir los votos, pero mucho mejor sería recibir los votos con algún tipo de interacción con la gente.

Seeing that this strategy actually works for you is something I can learn from.

Publishing everyday can be a challenge sometimes. I tried publishing every 24 hours recently and it didn’t work at all. I even ended up publishing contents that I knew were under standard. As a newbie, I think I still have much more to learn on the blockchain so no pressure.

Hi @thisisnativeboy! I've been in Hive for about 10 months and I just tried to publish everyday for seven days. Today I'll begin my journey of publishing 30 consecutive days. I'll you know if I make it. But you are right, we should not compromise quality for quantity. 👍
