Harmonic circle of E and El Reloj (Bolero)

Well, the time has come to climb to the next level. If you are participating in my Basic Guitar Course, today you master the circles of C, D, and G without any problem. Besides, your fingers are obedient and you can change chords without any problem. Obviously, you also master the different dexterity exercises. Finally, you now know how to tune your own guitar without the need for a tuner or app. Congratulations!

But as I mentioned at the beginning, today is the day to go to the next level. In this video, I will teach you the E Harmonic Circle, but beyond that, today you can start playing basic Boleros. Below I have added not only the link to the PDF of the E Harmonic Circle but also the link to the PDF of the popular and classic Bolero de Cantoral, El Reloj. The PDF of El Reloj has the chords of the C harmonic circle, but it can be played in all the circles that you have learned so far. Use it as a reference and try it on the Circles of D, E and G. Have fun!

PDF El Reloj

Remember

  • warm-up your forearm and fingers with the exercises that I have shown you in my videos
  • practice 20 to 30 minutes daily
  • perform slowly but well in all exercises

If you have questions feel free to send me a comment.

Excelente iniciativa maestro @acgalarza, felicidades.

¡Saludos!

I'm sure this will help those who are learning to play the guitar. Makes me want to go buy me one lol!

I hope so!

You should try it! If you want to play it safe, rent one or borrow one from a friend.

That is what I advised everyone at the beginning. Some people are not sure if the guitar is for them or are not sure if they have the talent or time for it. Borrowing or renting one for a month can help you make a long-range decision. Let me know if you decide to do it. Have a great day!

I was about to say that I have to set my mind if I would like to fully immerse myself to playing. We did have guitars home but lost them when our house burned down almost two years ago. I only know the basics but never had learned to really play.

First of all, I'm sorry about your house! I can't imagine what that would be like!

And yes, if you decide to do it, you really have to go for it 100% Think about it and let me know if and when you are ready. If not, that's ok too!

Thank you. It's one of the things I hope nobody will experience.

Oh, surely. I hope I can do it soon lol!

I didn't know you teach guitar lessons on hive. this is nice my friend. I don't know how to play instruments and I don't have any but guitar is one instrument I fancy and wouldn't mind learning how to play one.

Yes, I do!!! 🎸🎶🎵🎶🎵

If you really want to, try to borrow one for a month from a friendt or rent one from a music store. Then you can decide if the guitar is for you and buy your very own guitar. I'll teach you!

Hmmm🤔🤔 I'm new in town and don't have friends yet so that isn't an option and I'm not sure I have ever seen a music store in my country but I'll ask around. I'd love to learn from you ♥️♥️

This is fantastic, I haven't handled string instruments before but I play drums. Anyone who loves music will definitely find instruments irresistible except if they choose not to learn.

Well done sir.

Thank you, @george-dee! I also play drums, but my main instruments are the guitar and the Saxophone.

I love how clear your Spanish is Armando, when I lived in Andalucia oh boy did they speak so fast and slovenly 🤣🤣🤣

Hello @tengolotodo! And thank you for the compliment! Yes, different countries and different regions speak sometimes with very different accents. I can imagine why the accent/speed in Andalucía can be difficult for many people.

I'm enjoying the Challenge and looking forward to the Party tomorrow.

What does it mean "Bring a bottle"?

Yes the different accents are fun:)
The party, well bring a bottle is what we say when we goto a party, you bring a bottle of alcohol or soft drink, of course this will be a virtual bottle!

I like the accent of Basque Country and Andalucia.

I was going to bring Tequila to the party, but I got mixed up with the schedule and I missed it! 😔

Did you have fun!

This looks fabulous Armando... have you considered doing the videos in English too hehe... Your voice sounds lovely and the instruction look great!!! Came across this in Dreemport the other day. I missed the payout period but here are some tipping tokens to show my appreciation.

Good morning @samsmith1971!

Yes, I have considered that option. Do you know if I can record my guitar series in English? I mean, is that considered "recycling" or something like that?

Your voice sounds lovely and the instruction look great!!!

That's very kind of you! 😊That's also encouraging to hear!

Thank you for the Tokens! 🤗

That is a very good question! I have seen people get upset with others who have taken a single post and translated it into multiple languages and then split them out as separate posts... but then for most a translation is literally copy-paste from Google translate or Deepl. But a 3speak new English video... that feels like new effort... you could even provide links between the articles so people can choose...or going forward provide the English and Spanish versions in the same post. Another thought... could you pop English subtitles in (?) if rerecording now seems too much effort? !PIZZA Maybe @dreemsteem has some thoughts on your question.

But a 3speak new English video... that feels like new effort...

I think so! But as you said, some people think differently.

or going forward provide the English and Spanish versions in the same post.

I've seen some people doing that, but I find it aesthetically not very attractive.

...English subtitles in (?) if rerecording now seems too much effort?

I've done it before, but that is a lot of work. I tend to think that a new video totally in the other language is the best option.

Hmmmm Aaaaa what to do!? 😫
