Up Into The Future

Is vacation over already? Well, I couldn't tell since it's been quite a while since my last one. In fact, when I went full-time into crypto a few years ago, I thought I'd have a never-ending vacation, but the reality is that I often find myself turning my life into a living hell during extended periods of time.

Because of this...

On the other hand, some friends of mine are already done with their vacations. They packed up and left town with their daughter just yesterday. Our group of friends has been hanging out for quite some time now, but we only managed to spend a few days together recently since not everyone could take off at the same time.

I met with them separately because I still live in town, but unfortunately, it was only for a couple of days. Not everyone in our group is in their mid-twenties anymore... or even mid-thirties.

Two friends have a one-year-old daughter now, who's brought a lot of changes to their lives. While having kids can be such a blessing, it's clear that your freedom takes a hit once you become a parent.

Nevertheless, raising future generations is crucial, especially in today's messed-up social culture. And, it seems like chaos and disorder are all part of a grand design for control.

Personally, I detest both extremes – chaos and complete order – and believe peace and harmony lie somewhere in between.

It's fascinating to see how much the world has changed since we were kids, from our shifting values to the ease with which truth can be manipulated. Technology is undoubtedly a double-edged sword: it brings us information at lightning speed while also exposing us to chaos. I love and hate it for that reason.

I already miss those group hangouts and dread the thought of autumn and winter when my place becomes so quiet. Maybe I'll consider moving out once the crypto bull market cools down... or who knows, maybe not?
