Tiny Red Devil
Another sweltering day in this part of the world. What we've had for the past couple of weeks or so is a proper European summer. I can't say I particularly enjoy it, but I can't complain either. Rain was worse, anyway. This post isn't about the weather, though.
It's about a tiny but powerful Suzuki Samurai sitting on some "high heels." It belongs to a friend of mine who bought it a few months ago, and today I got to ride it a bit as well. We didn't go off-road, which is somewhat of a shame but also a blessing...
It would have been nice to see the capabilities of the tiny beast on off-road, but on the other hand, having no doors and being a convertible, I'd rather stay on tarmac and not inhale all the dust it can kick up.
I call it a beast because the engine is no longer its original one – it has a 2.0 swap from a different Suzuki model. The modifications don't end there, though. The suspension is also modified to accommodate the 35-inch wheels, which are quite noisy on tarmac.
It's red, noisy, and can handle off-road, but what about air conditioning? I can't say anything about that because when you drive it "doors open," it doesn't matter that much. The interior space is quite compact, though – what do you expect from a Samurai?
A fun toy to play with, nevertheless. I might get the chance to see its off-road capabilities one day as well. For now, I'm content with the photoshoot I had with it. How would you like such a vehicle, by the way?
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
Those are great for off road.. they're very popular in Puerto Rico.. that one is exceptional
Too big the wheels imo.
Your photos are so great that I had a hard time telling if the vehicle was real or a miniature taken up close. Spectacular! 😍👏
Compared to a Nissan Patrol tuned the same way it sure looks like a miniature.
😀😀😀
Very cool, with some beautiful shots, I am suitable for off road, especially since the engine has been replaced, of course it is very powerful.
Great shots 📸
Thanks
