Days Like These
It’s funny how this crowded place gets so quiet and dull once the tourists are gone. But no matter how many people visit the Danube's Whirlpools, nature still looks fantastic, and each season gives it a different meaning.
A good friend of mine is in town for vacation this week, and today, after coffee, he wanted to take a drive to the area I mentioned earlier. Since the weather was sunny and warm, I couldn't say no.
We first hit a restaurant by the Danube, then went to see Decebalus’ rock sculpture for the thousandth time 😀. It’s still magnificent, no doubt about that.
From there, we took a nice stroll to the nearby monastery and kept snapping pics. Most of the landscape you see in these shots is on the Serbian side of the Danube. I've been there too...
But unlike here, you can’t stop wherever you want to take photos.
One thing I noticed is that autumn hasn’t fully kicked in yet. The trees still have plenty of green leaves. I love it when the forests turn that rusty color before winter.
Even nature has its own bull and bear cycles, but somehow, some smartasses in crypto think we’re going to have a super cycle. We won’t. Cyclicity is so natural and simple, yet somehow, humans always think they can break the cycle.
Not happening...
That’s all from me for now, folks. Have a great day and see you next time.
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
