Went out to try a new tze char stall I saw on Friday night. Was quite crowded when I reached.

Grabbed a menu to the table to decide what to order. Didn't expect a new place to be cheaper and it wasn't

I had a black bean paste bitter gourd fish hor fun for $6. Like it that it wasn't as salty as the others I have tried elsewhere.
我花了 6 元买了一份豆豉苦瓜鱼片河粉。 喜欢它不像我在其他地方尝试过的那样咸。
Also for $6 is the bitter gourd fish bee hoon soup for the wife.
太太吃的苦瓜鱼米粉汤也是6 元。

This one at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh. If you are not near, then not really worth coming all the way.
Tze Char stalls mostly at not so bad or they will close down already. So, I really go do far away ones much.
Haha yeah I agree, if they are not at least decent, they probably won’t be able to operate for long when Singapore is such a food heaven!
Oh now I am hungry AGAIN after sharing your adventure to new restaurant stalls.
Perhaps I will never learn!
