Working from home and it looked like it may rain when it was around lunchtime but I went out anyway for #marketfriday by @dswigle.

🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particularly the first of the 4 violin concertos, called Spring.
🎶让大家继续读的时候,欣赏一点音乐。这件作品是维瓦尔第的“四季”的一部分 - 4小提琴协奏曲中的第一首,名为“春天”。

This time I was getting it with the curry noodle and it cost $5 and I got my $3 cashback. Yay.

Sat near the coffee stall.

It started to rain and I decided to get a coffee and try to sit out the rain.
天开始下雨了,我决定去买杯杯咖啡,坐着喝。希望喝到雨停止。

On the way home, went to check out if the new pork soup stall at nearby coffeeshop was open. Not yet. Guess the pork supply issue may be affecting them. However, a new Huat tze char stall has opened.
在回家的路上,去看看附近咖啡店的新猪肉汤摊开了没。 还没有。 猜测猪肉供应问题可能影响他们。 然而,一个新的 煮炒摊已经开张了。

The rain had almost stop then so it it was good time.

Don't you hate when it rains and you are trying to walk somewhere? I really don't like bringing an umbrella when I go places, I am always afraid of leaving it behind.

I really like the Paylah app you have. Nothing says delicious like a free meal! Or almost free. Did you like the curry noodles? Do most of the stalls take the app? Does Paylah reimburse them for all the money? What a great deal, lunch for a dollar or two. Is Friday the only day you can use it or is it good any day?

I had no idea you had a pork shortage there. I hope the shortage ends soon. What is a Huat tze char stall? What kind of tasty food do they have there?

Thanks so much for being a part of the challenge!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!

  1. Go to any type of market, or anywhere where you pay money for a service. It can be a museum, a movie theatre, or an auction. Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? We like to compare prices, otherwise, it is just pictures of a market!
  3. Post the pictures! No out-of-focus ones, please! Tell a little bit about the pictures that you post. Having many pictures to scroll through does not make a better post without explanation.
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated) If you don't, then #MarketFriday should be your first tag
  5. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
6 You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post.
7.#MarketFriday post should be submitted sometime on Friday UTC
  6. The post MUST be in English
  7. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it

I don't like carry the umbrella around too we've been getting so much rain and I decided better to be safe especially when the sky looks dark. The curry noodle was quite good. The Paylah rebate has been for a while and it's only for the hawker stalls in the food centre. I used to be able to get the $3 on nights before but I think now more people know about it and soon after noon time, they are fully redeemed (this is a limit). I search the official announcment
https://www.dbs.com.sg/personal/deposits/pay-with-ease/paylah-5-million-hawker-meals
We still have time but it's Friday and I think soon the Friday game over time may be soon after breakfast before lunch time.
