@detlev and family is in town for a few days. Managed to scheduled a time to meet him and family for dinner on Friday night. Arranged to meet outside the visitor centre next to the Buddha Tooth Relic temple.

Found an area with empty table and decided to get food from one of the many tze char stalls there.
找到一个空桌子的区域，决定从那里的众多煮炒摊之一买食物。
The first dish came soon after I paid for the food. Braised toufu and fried kai lan. Got to have some veggies of course.
我付完钱后不久第一道菜就来了。 红烧豆腐和炒芥兰。 当然还要吃一些蔬菜。
Prawm omlette.
虾煎炒蛋。
Prawn paste chicken.
虾酱鸡。
Frog legs with ginger and onion.
姜葱炒田鸡。
Sweet and sour pork rib.
糖醋排骨王。
I guess enough food with rice for us. Thanks for @detlev for the drinks. I hope they like the Tiger beer.

It's not easy to get everyone even when the table isn't very big. Watch for @detlev version. Maybe his is better.

The pork was nice but I loved the egg & shrimp. Sure there was a Tiger or maybe two involved.

Hawker food and tze char are always the best kind of food to introduce to tourists! Amazing job that you’re hosting a friend visiting, did you meet @detlev over Hive? That is so cool! 🤩
That place quite few similar tze char stalls I don't know which one is good.
Haha, I just went for the one nearest to the table we found.
I sort met him before in BKK during the steemfest or I saw him giving the talk then.

How can you go wrong with all the different dishes to choose from. I am sure that it is a pretty hot time to visit Singapore, but, with such an amazing city, you have to visit when it fits your schedule.

It's hot mostly except last two months of the year but we seem to get a lot of rain this year.
Even early two weeks of July including few days last week.
It was a good meeting even if it was only for a quick dinner.
