Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Let's look at the first Sneak Peeks of the Rebellion Cards

Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a topic that goes by the theme "The Rebellion". I hope you guys are ready to read and hear my side of the story where I share my journey as a Splinterlands player on the Hive blockchain with you all. Without much ado, let's dive into the topic straight forward.

The Rebellion Edition which is set to be released in about 10 days from now has its presale period over and more than half of the released presale packs were purchased by Splinterlands warriors which shows how dedicated the gamers have for this game. There is no doubt that this set of cards is going to be the game changer in Splinterlands and already we are currently having some Sneak Peeks of the monsters and summoners which I will be sharing some of them here in this post. I was really surprised to see the presale period just bypass so fast because I wanted to purchase 10 rebellion packs and to my surprise the day I wanted to buy 4 more and make it up, the presale was over :). I was really astonished and got bored when I saw that because I had planned to get 10 packs at presale before the launch of the game. By the way, all the same, I will try to get more packs after the release.

A lot of people are patiently waiting for the release date and I think these Sneak Peeks are really making a lot of warriors develop more interest in the Rebellio Edition. These cards are really going to bring more heat into the game and it will actually turn things around in the game. It's always good to bring on new challenges as such so as to change the gameplay and also get the attention of non-players about the game. Alright, now let me take you guys through some of the cards in the first Sneak Peeks maybe later we can look at the others in the coming weeks.

First of all, we have PROPHET ROSA which is know to be the first tactic summoner for the rebellion edition that is revealed. So, this summoner will provide the chance for players to either select giving a +2 ranged attack to two of his/her units or a shield to one of their monsters. One interesting thing here is that this opportunity is given after both you and your opponent's team's lineup are revealed. Are you not amazed? This is truly going to be an interesting add-up to the game, I can't wait to possess this summoner.

Secondly, the first dual-element summoner also to be revealed is the ZEDDICA summoner. This summoner is responsible for giving players the ability to choose monsters or cards from both the Water and Death elements or decks. Can you imagine combining both Water and Death decks together in battles, wow, this is going to be a deadly battle indeed. Let's patiently wait to see how this summoner will perform.

Next, we have the INFERNAL FIRESTORM monster and this is going to be a good card in your team line-up because of its high health stats and a good amount of magic attack damage as well as its high speed. If this card is used with the Flank ability or ruleset, it can attack monsters from the second position in your opponent's team line-up.

Also, ANASTH SOOTHSAYER which is a Water deck monster with its small mana cost is a good monster to be part of one's lineup. Imagine 6 mana cost monster with such great abilities including, a dispel ability, heal ability, cleanse, and dodge ability. It should be noted that its dispel ability can nullify some effects including Martyr and Bloodlust.

Let's look at another very low-mana cost monster that also does great melee damage to an opponent and that is called the GOBALANO SOLDIER. A mana cost of 3 and speed of 4 with 3 melee damage is super crazy. Guys, this rebellion edition is bringing something else into the game, my patience is over-powering me now, I can't just wait any longer. :).

We have the CHAOS ANIMATOR as part of the Death deck and this also has low mana cost and high health stats including two armor at max. It brings along the amplifying ability, void, and then redemption ability. These are super stats for just a 3-mana cost monster to possess.
There are others that have been revealed too, but I will keep that in my subsequent posts. I know by now if you bought the Rebellion packs you will know you didn't just waste your DEC, haha. It is time to bring that change in the game which a lot of people have been waiting to see aside the Land release.
