Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's battle mage secrets weekly challenge. I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "TARGET PRACTICE" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the ruleset of the game, All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze league. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

My Team's Line-Up

Summoner1st2nd3rd4th5th6th

Summoner:

I chose the TARSA summoner. It was a 33-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the Tarsa summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in health and also an increase in melee damage. I kept the Gorth monster in the first position so that it could easily attain the bloodlust effect after it eliminated the first-position monster of my opponent's team lineup. I added the Halfing Alchemist monster so it does a decrease in stats to my opponent's monsters after an effective range attack. Also, I added the Spirit Hoarder monster so that it can heal back my last positioned monster. Firecaller which is a Martyr monster was also added so that after its death, it would increase all stats of my adjacent monsters.

1st Position:

Gorth, this card has the divine protection ability so it doesn't take first-time damages from monsters. It is an 8-mana monster with a speed of 2, 0 damage attack, and 12 health with 0 armor protection. It is also a bloodlust monster.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra health and armor attack damage. My lineup was made up of six monsters including; Gorth, Firecaller, Serpentine Spy, Halfing Alchemist, Spirit Hoarder, and Ferox Defender. His lineup was made up of four monsters including the Living Lava monster in the first position, followed by Chimney Wallstop, Venari Marksrat, and then Lava Launcher.

In the first round, the Lava launcher attacked first but divine protection was there to protect me from the damage, similar to my Serpentine Spy monster also attacked with no damage done. Spirit Hoarder and Halfing Alchemist attacked Venari Marksrat my opponent after which Firecaller was able to eliminate the Venari Marksrat on my opponent's lineup. All stats on Lava Launcher and Chimney Wallstop were increased and his subsequent attacks were missed on my first-position monster. At the end of the first round, one of his monsters was eliminated and he was left with three monsters.

Round 2:

In this round, similarly, the Lava Launcher on my opponent's lineup attacked first and this time around was able to eliminate my armor. A melee attack from Serpentine Spy also damaged his first-position monster's armor. Chimney Wallstop also attacked and damaged the armor of my first-positon monster. Halfing Alchemist was able to attack the Lava Launcher monster and reduce the stats by half.

At the end of the round, no monsters was eliminated from both sides.

Round 3:

In this round, Lava Launcher attacked first again and reduced the health of firecaller monster by two. The attack from Chimney Wallstop was missed and then I followed with subsequent attacks on his Lava Launcher monster.

At the end of this round, I was able to eliminate his first-positon monster as well. That was a great opportunity for me to win this battle.

Round 4:

In this round, Lava Launcher was still active and attacked first followed by an attack from Serpentine Spy which was able to damage the armor of the Lava Launcher monster. Subsequent attacks from my monsters were done.

At the end of this round, no monster was eliminated from either side but then I was at a great opportunity and chance of winning the battle.

Round 5 - 6:

From round 5 to 6, it was an easy battle for me to win, because he was left with just a monster with low health which I could easily defeat. In the sixth round, with just one attack from Gorth, I eliminated all his monsters.

This was how my battle went and I won it with ease. I think the selection of my team was good and also selecting bloodlust monster in the lineup for Tarsa summoner is a great strategy.

Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
