HISAKU ART ESP/ING
Holaaa comunidad, bienvenidos a este nuevo post en el que les presentare mi nueva ilustracion, en el camino del progreso, cada paso es importante y este trabajo reafirma mi pasion por la ilustracion, utilizando una paleta de colores diferente a lo habitual.
Hisaku:
Hisaku es una ilustracion, con un referencia clave en su desarrollo, para quienes les gustara las series animadas de hace algunos años, recordaran una llamada " Samurai jack", por ende este trabajo esta inspirado un poco en el antagonista de la historia, la referencia clara trate de manejarla solo en el rostro, pero enfocarme en darle una estetica de dios antiguo e intimidante.
Hello community, welcome to this new post in which I will present my new illustration, in the way of progress, every step is important and this work reaffirms my passion for illustration, using a different color palette than usual.
Hisaku:
Hisaku is an illustration, with a key reference in its development, for those who like the animated series of some years ago, you will remember one called "Samurai jack", therefore this work is inspired a little in the antagonist of the story, the clear reference try to handle it only in the face, but focus on giving it an ancient god aesthetic and intimidating.
Proceso:
Durante el proceso creativo, la intencion era desarrollar un personaje con cabeza de animal y cuerpo delgado, que mostrara cierta fragilidad, aun asi durante este proceso el personaje fue adquiriendo peso, en su estetica, contando con un torso delgado pero con los hombros y espalda con un mayor peso visual para el mismo, esto lo iba dotando de personalidad.
la posicion de las manos como si estuviera rezando, hacen un énfasis claro en que se trata de un ser espiritual, un protector, al pie de su templo durante la larga noche.
con una sonrisa un tanto siniestra y un aspecto casi inquietante este personaje resulta ser todo lo contraria, ya que hablamos de un ser espiritual que busca mediante la meditacion y una vigilancia constante cuidar de su templo, y alcanzar cada vez mas un estado de meditacion mayor
Process:
During the creative process, the intention was to develop a character with an animal head and thin body, showing a certain fragility, even so during this process the character was acquiring weight, in its aesthetics, counting with a thin torso but with shoulders and back with a greater visual weight to it, this was giving it personality.
The position of the hands as if he was praying, make a clear emphasis that this is a spiritual being, a protector, at the foot of his temple during the long night.
with a somewhat sinister smile and an almost disturbing appearance, this character turns out to be the opposite, since we are talking about a spiritual being who seeks through meditation and constant vigilance to take care of his temple, and to reach an ever greater state of meditation.
Proceso:
En cuanto a la coloracion, mencione en el principio del post que estaba utilizando una paleta de colores un tanto difirente a los habituales cyan y magentas que uso.
en este caso los colores calidos hacen su jugada, para hacer una fuerte prensencia en el personaje y transmitir una sensacion de calor, que nos muestre que pese a la oscura y fria noche a las afueras del templo, el personaje transmite calidez y luminosidad.
las pocas coloraciones de tonos frios, estan para crear un contraste y una armonia entre los colores calidos y frios, que dotan al personaje de detalles, estetica y personalidad.
Process:
As for the coloring, I mentioned at the beginning of the post that I was using a color palette somewhat different from the usual cyan and magentas I use.
in this case the warm colors make their play, to make a strong presence in the character and convey a sense of warmth, to show us that despite the dark and cold night outside the temple, the character conveys warmth and brightness.
The few colors of cold tones, are to create a contrast and harmony between the warm and cold colors, which give the character details, aesthetics and personality.
Hisaku. es una ilustracion interesante y llena de sensaciones transmitidas a traves de este trabajo.
