Mis padres me enseñaron a amar a los animales (Es/En)

Feliz tarde queridos amigos de Hive. Los saludo con mucho cariño, deseando de todo corazón que se encuentren bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes todo lo que mis padres hicieron para que tanto mis hermanos como yo amaramos a los animales. Espero que puedan disfrutar de la lectura de mi publicación.

Happy afternoon dear friends of Hive. I greet you with much affection, wishing you well from the bottom of my heart. Today I want to share with you all that my parents did to make me and my siblings love animals. I hope you enjoy reading my publication.

Durante mi infancia mis padres se avocaron a inculcarme el amor y respeto por los animales. En casa siempre hemos tenido mascotas; morrocoyes, gatos, perros, loros, palomas, entre otros,. En todo momento mis padres nos recordaban a mis hermanos y a mí que un animalito que tengamos como mascota es un miembro de la familia, así que debíamos estar pendiente de sus necesidades.

A mi papá le gustan mucho los animales y realmente las mascotas que hemos tenido ha sido porque él ha tomado la iniciativa, por el contrario, mi mamá es un poco más renuente a la hora de decidir si tener una mascota o no ya que siempre es ella la que queda con la mayor responsabilidad de la mascota, esto ocurre porque ella es quien más está en casa, así que en más de una ocasión se rehusó a aceptar una mascota más, sin embargo, terminábamos convenciéndola.

Tanto mi papá como mi mamá tienen sus animales favoritos. Mi mamá quiere mucho a los gatos, de hecho, en casa no falta un gato. El gatito que tenemos actualmente se llama Sony y se comporta como un perrito. En todo momento está con mi mamá, se le echa en los pies y temprano en la mañana la espera en la puerta de su habitación. Mi mamá realmente ama a Sony, incluso lo tiene como protector de pantalla en su teléfono. En cambio a mi papá le encantan los caballos.

During my childhood my parents instilled in me the love and respect for animals. At home we have always had pets; morrocoyes, cats, dogs, parrots, pigeons, among others. At all times my parents reminded my siblings and me that an animal we have as a pet is a member of the family, so we had to be aware of their needs.

My dad likes animals very much and really the pets we have had have been because he has taken the initiative, on the contrary, my mom is a little more reluctant when deciding whether to have a pet or not because she is always the one who is left with the greatest responsibility for the pet, this happens because she is the one who is at home the most, so on more than one occasion she refused to accept another pet, however, we ended up convincing her.

Both my mom and dad have their favorite animals. My mom loves cats very much, in fact, there is no shortage of cats at home. The kitten we currently have is named Sony and he behaves like a puppy. At all times he is with my mom, he lies on her feet and early in the morning he waits for her at the door of her room. My mom really loves Sony, she even has him as a screensaver on her phone. My dad, on the other hand, loves horses.

Una de las cosas que me encanta ver en mi papá, es su rostro de emoción al estar cerca de un caballo. Ese es su animal favorito, cuando tenemos la oportunidad de estar cerca de un caballo, mi papá se emociona hasta el grado de parecer un niño, es increíble como manifiesta su alegría. Nunca hemos tenido la oportunidad de tener un caballo, pero si algún día llegamos a tenerlo, estoy segura que mi papá sería muy feliz y el caballo también.

El amor con el que tanto mi papá y mi mamá han cuidado de las diferentes mascotas que hemos tenido se ha quedado grabado en mi mente hasta el punto de imitarlos. Realmente el ejemplo es el complemento de una enseñanza eficaz. Mis padres no se limitaron a decirme que debemos cuidar a los animales, sino que con sus hechos, lograron que tanto mis hermanos como yo sintiéramos respeto y admiración por los animales.

One of the things I love to see in my dad, is his excited face when he is near a horse. That is his favorite animal, when we have the opportunity to be near a horse, my dad gets so excited that he looks like a child, it is incredible how he expresses his joy. We have never had the opportunity to have a horse, but if one day we do, I am sure my dad would be very happy and so would the horse.

The love with which both my mom and dad have taken care of the different pets we have had has stuck in my mind to the point of imitating them. Example really is the complement to effective teaching. My parents did not limit themselves to tell me that we should take care of animals, but with their actions, they managed to make both my siblings and I feel respect and admiration for animals.

Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de ir a un pueblo del Estado Falcón en Venezuela y al ver un caballo me emocioné mucho, lamentablemente mi papá no viajó conmigo, pero me subí al caballo y me tomaron fotos para enviárselas a mi papá. Durante el rato que estuve paseando sobre el caballo, recordaba a mi papá. Luego que me bajé del caballo, lo acaricie y me quedé embelesada mirando sus ojos, así es como mi papá los mira y la conexión que experimente fue sensacional. Cuando le envié a mi papá el vídeo y las fotos se alegró mucho y me dijo que le hubiese gustado estar allí.

I recently had the opportunity to go to a town in Falcon State in Venezuela and when I saw a horse I was very excited, unfortunately my dad did not travel with me, but I got on the horse and they took pictures of me to send them to my dad. During the time I was riding the horse, I remembered my dad. After I got off the horse, I petted him and was enraptured looking into his eyes, that's how my dad looks at them and the connection I experienced was sensational. When I sent my dad the video and photos he was so happy and told me he wished he could have been there.

Otra cosa que hicieron mis padres durante mi infancia, fue enseñarme que hay actos muy crueles que las personas llevan a cabo con los animales para divertirse. Por ejemplo las peleas de gallos, las corridas de toros o cualquier otra supuesta diversión que incluyera el maltrato animal no era ningún hecho atrayente sino muy repulsivo. En el pueblito que visité es muy común las peleas de gallos y de corazón repudio con todas mis fuerzas estos actos. No concibo en mi mente cómo hay personas que se divierten al ver esos animalitos peleando.

Gracias a la educación que me transmitieron mis padres, siento amor por los animales y si un animal no me gusta, simplemente me retiro pero no soy capaz de hacerles daño, a menos que sea un animal que represente una amenaza para la vida, como las serpientes venenosas. Aun así, no he matado en mi vida a una serpiente y espero que no se me presente la oportunidad porque creo que el temor me paralizaría. En fin, los animales son hermosos, debemos cuidarlos y protegerlos.

Another thing that my parents did during my childhood was to teach me that there are very cruel acts that people do to animals for fun. For example, cockfighting, bullfighting or any other supposed amusement that included animal abuse was not appealing but very repulsive. In the small town I visited, cockfighting is very common and I heartily repudiate these acts with all my strength. I cannot conceive in my mind how there are people who enjoy watching those little animals fighting.

Thanks to the education that my parents passed on to me, I feel love for animals and if I don't like an animal, I simply withdraw but I am not capable of harming them, unless it is an animal that represents a threat to life, such as poisonous snakes. Even so, I have never killed a snake in my life and I hope the opportunity does not present itself to me because I think the fear would paralyze me. Anyway, animals are beautiful, we must take care of them and protect them.
