Happiness is within everyone's reach

I am pleased to be able to make a publication for this first year anniversary of a community that is vital in this platform, because it always tries to give us the tools so that life does not go away in vanities. Happiness is within everyone's reach, we will be able to see it, find it and enjoy it if we override the stereotypes that society often places on us as patterns that we must adopt.

My minimalist lifestyle is extremely rewarding because it helps me focus on what is truly valuable. A long time ago I wrote a publication entitled "We are all lined skulls", in that publication I exposed the reality in which we human beings find ourselves. Beyond aesthetics and beauty, we must keep in mind at all times our composition, we are mortals, it is the reality that if we have it clear we will avoid arrogance, vanity or any other negative aspect that leads us to think that we are more than others.

Minimalism helps us to see with objectivity the fleetingness of life and from there we begin to consider the possibility of living to the fullest with what we have. It is of vital importance to highlight that the minimalist lifestyle has led me to be a grateful person with the little or much that I may have, since what is most relevant is to feel happy and enjoy what I have. Instead of wasting time feeling frustrated about what I don't have, I take every moment to focus on what I do have and be grateful. This brings me happiness.

One of the challenges I have faced is comments from family members, even though I know they mean well, they do not harmonize with my essence. For example, some people agree that I am the simplicity made woman, many say it with jocularity, but the truth is that sometimes I wonder if I am really very insipid, I perform this self-examination and I quickly pass any doubt I may have about it, because when I look in the mirror I feel good with what I see and above all I feel transparent, I feel human.

To counteract the noise that I sometimes feel in my mind by the avalanche of paradigms of society that creep into my family and friends, I remember that my essence cannot be violated by any comment, I simply feel happy with my personality, with the feelings I display, with my way of keeping my sense of humor active despite the negative circumstances, in short, I feel good with myself and no one can take that happiness away from me.

The minimalist lifestyle is not a life of conformism that leads to destitution, nothing could be further from the truth. Minimalists work hard but we are basic and clear about what we want. As peace is paramount in our lives we do not go into unnecessary debt, we do not compete with anyone in standards of beauty or in the goods we acquire, we do not get carried away by the trends of the fashion industry, none of that keeps us awake at night, we are simply happy with what we can get thanks to our work.

The purpose of a minimalist's life is simply to be happy regardless of external circumstances and we work towards that every day. Particularly, I am very realistic with what I can afford, so I don't go around dreaming of having things that I can't really afford because in the end this brings bitter frustration. They can pass off on TV commercials all sorts of things, but if I can't afford it, I'm not going to waste my time getting my hopes up in the air and then fall down with no shock absorbers. We don't all have the same opportunities when it comes to money and ephemera, however, we all have the same opportunities to create our happiness, so let's keep our feet on the ground and enjoy what we have.

You seem to always have your minimalist values in check, which is awesome. It can be discouraging when people close to you who might have different beliefs find negative things to say instead of just letting you be. However, I gather that you are of a strong mind to not let that deter you from living life the way you choose with happiness being the end goal. That you definitely cannot fault.

Many years ago I would have been very concerned about some well-intentioned comments from some people close to me, but at this time in my life, my own criteria regarding this subject is well defined and this keeps me focused on my peace and happiness.

Thank you very much my dear @millycf1976 for always reading my publications and leaving me a very thoughtful comment😉

I reiterate my congratulations for the first anniversary of this wonderful community 🥳🥳🥳🥳

A big hug 🤗😘😚🤗😘😚🤗
