There Is Meaning To Any Song I Listen To

There is power behind the works of art; they speak to us in a way that would bring about change. Some would even speak life and would make us become the best people ever.
Nowadays, songs have become something not worth listening to. So many artists are coming up with different types of songs that lack inspiration and heart-touching. They are just singing those songs just for money's sake. Money is important, but then that thing we felt would bring us the money must be properly arranged to gain the heart of the general populace.

A South-South singer who has been singing for years finally broke the record. He has been singing songs, but to so many people, those songs were all nonsense. So, the very day he woke up to sing his best, he became known all over the hearts of people. That album does speak to the hearts of people. It spoke sense deep down the marrow of people.

I happened to listen to Lucky Dube's songs where he said, “How will you feel when you see the poor man suffering? What kind of rich man are you, who does not care for the poor people?” This song created unity in the hearts of those who love listening to it. It spoke the truth about how most rich men always behave towards the poor. The rich men only wanted their pockets to be robust and even claimed what belonged to the poor as theirs.

I also listened to this Nigerian singer, Rude Boy. He said, “When money no dey, na waitin you gain?” He sang the song to hit the hearts of people. To be sincere, so many ladies only ran after the rich, believing that things would not be better for the poor. Why on earth must you leave your love for money? When he was not having, you ran away, but when money came, you tried to come back to your love. What kind of woman are you? He said, "Reason with Me If I No Get Today, I Go Get Tomorrow." There is always hope in whatever or wherever we find ourselves right now. You being poor today does not mean you will not get rich tomorrow. Life does not treat you badly, but you just have to step up to claim that thing that is yours.

Songs are sources of inspiration. They give hope and speak life to humanity. Songs are not just sung but must serve as a means of promoting something special in the heart, either to correct or to increase the love life of lovers.

In another way, the artist who specializes in drawing also draws to bring something meaningful to the hearts of people. We can only choose to read or not to read the meaning of the messages they are trying to pass to us.

Jumping into singing without meaning is not the best, but singing with meaning should be the best. I want to sing, but that does not mean you should not compose your song to suit the general populace. Compose the best and make it speak something meaningful to your niche or the world. This is when your song can be able to remain in the hearts of people forever and for generations to come.
Most people listen to songs just for listening sake, not what the lyrics are all about.
