Music Has Gone Wrong

The songs of today are just not worth it. The various artists have somehow lost it all, forgetting that they have to think properly before releasing songs. This is why I have to choose the kinds of music I listen to these days.

Most artists are just premature. They only want the money attached to the music industry instead of doing what they are supposed to do. Sitting properly to think of the kinds of music the general populace would want has been a menace to most of the artists out there.

To me, the lyrics should be worked on properly just to fine-tune everyone's minds. Most people only want the jargon they are singing, forgetting the fact that music is beyond that aspect of life. Songs have gone wrong in the system of today just because we all needed money. Young adults as well as young youths nowadays have used this as an advantage to ignore composing songs and instead just jump into the music industry and start singing jargon. This, I can say, does not fit the system. Most youths have pleasure in that rubbish they call songs, while the adults who know the values of pieces of music detest those kinds of songs.

Most of the time, the timbre coming out of the songs would be nice to the ear, but the lyrics are nothing to write home about. Lyrics are songs and what makes music the best. Coming up to sing what does not exist is not the best.

Songs were supposed to command greatness. Through songs, one would be able to learn so many things possible. Music speaks to the minds of the general populace. Through songs, one can get converted and get changed totally. This showed that in songs lie inspirations. We get a lot of inspiration to create through songs. This is the major reason we should compose songs with good lyrics.

Some artists had gone to school to learn music, while others had only gone to school and had an educational foundation. This alone can make them write the best lyric ever. Those without an educational background would find it difficult to write a good lyric. This is why listening to their pieces of music would cause serious problems to humanity or to society.

My little advice to the artists is that they should learn how to write so that they can compose a good lyric that can speak the people’s minds but not the ones that can speak the opposite.
“Education is the key." Lucky Dube had made this statement before in one of his songs. This is what I believe. Money is important, but then getting it without dishing out the best is somehow not the best. The musical industries were supposed to scrutinize songs through their lyrics before the release of that song. I think they don't have this as part of their rules.

If you know how to sing but don’t have the capacity to compose the lyrics just because of the lack of educational background, then you have to take it to an expert who can help you to compose the lyrics. Going out there to sing what does not exist would destroy the music industry.

Singing confusion into the minds of the people instead of singing something that can change the mindsets of the world is not the best. To be sincere, “music has gone totally wrong.”.
