Coincidence

“You did it more than my best boy. I think I will not let you go.” Mr. Sam held on to the talent he had just discovered from Adekola.

Adetola has just two kids who are in primary school. They have been the most brilliant students ever in their different classes. Bayo is the firstborn and a boy, while Felicia is the last born and a girl, to whom Adetola does not want to fail. Anytime he gets back from work, he always sings this song that keeps triggering everyone in the house as well as the compound. He has this true and captivating voice that keeps his daughter happy.

“Daddy, did you attend musical school?” Felicia asked as she was carried by her dad's sweet voice.

“No, daughter. I just have the talent to sing, but my call was not to sing," Adetola admitted.

He kept singing for Felicia anytime he came back from work, and Bayo became jealous and started grumbling within him. Meanwhile, Adetola had known from Bayo's reaction that he was angry. He came home one day and was knocking on the door, but no one answered. Bayo, who would have answered and was sitting in the sitting room, could not have bothered to answer his dad just because of what he had carried in his mind.

“Bayo, come to meet Papa! Bayo!! Come to open the door for Papa!” Adetola changed it into a song and was singing it so sweetly that it moved Bayo solidly to open the door. “I love you, son,” Adetola said as he had to make him happy.

Bayo was so happy one day as they were preparing for their end-of-session party. He invited his dad to the party, but then he failed to attend after promising. This has been his habit, and he has been doing this frequently without attending the ceremony, but anytime Felicia asks his dad, without wasting time, he would attend. This made him develop another realm of hatred for his dad.

“Why do you always pretend to like me?” He asked his dad.

“No, son, I love you both.” Adetola was shocked to hear these words from his son.

“Why then do you always turn me down anytime I invite you to my program, whereas when Felicia invites you, you will rush down no matter what?” Bayo asked as he poured out his mind.

“I'm always reminded of that moment. Alright, son. I promise to make it up to you next time," he said.

“I will just hope so,” Bayo replied.

Anderson GuerraHe went to work one fateful day and discovered that everyone in his workplace was relieved from their work, including himself. He was shocked as he had no other source of earnings, and he had his children and wife to cater to. He got home so early, detailed, and confused. His wife had to console him deeply.

Three months later, he tried several places for jobs but was left confused. Bayo came. Home one day and said to his dad, “My school will be organizing a cultural day next week. I have a part to play that involves dancing to a particular song. I hope you don't mind attending?”

“Wow! That's nice. I must attend this one no matter what," Adetola said.

It's time for the ceremony, and Adetola gets set and heads down to his children's school. When he got there, everywhere was set, as well as the school hall. The musician was present and was fully set to carry out his singing tactics with his crew.

Bayo was so excited to see his dad attending to his invitation.

The program began properly while the key man in the musical crew was nowhere to be found. No one knows his whereabouts, and so everyone seated got frustrated and disappointed at the school for inviting this frustrated musician.

Meanwhile, to get everyone balanced and back to life, Adetola decided to handle the microphone and started singing. His first voice woke the crowd, and everyone concentrated on his voice. Those who were outside rushed inside just to see who had that sweet voice. Bayo heard the voice and was smiling as he could recognize this voice anytime, any day.

His sweet song, as well as the sound that was being produced by those playing the instruments, rhyme so well. Everything went on successfully, and when it was time for Bayo to dance with his group, Adetola had to rise again to sing that very song he had heard his son preparing for. It was so melodious, and the event was so special with Adetola’s voice. He was hailed, and so many parents went straight to the head of the musical crew and booked for appointments. Mr. Sam, the head of the musical crew, was not ready to say no, instead asking Adetola to join their crew. He knew that they were making a hell of money from it, but then he initially said no until he thought of how he lost his job. He later agreed to their proposal.

Bayo, on the other hand, got excited for his dad, making his day the best.

It's okay for Bayo to feel bad. C'mon, the signs and acts were there, although that was what Bayo felt. No excuses could make him understand anything.

But he became a channel for blessing for his dad after he lost his job.

A beautiful read 🥰

Opportunity are everywhere, one just needs to recognize it and grab it. I'm glad bayo's father saw another opportunity to cater for his family. Sometime a problem can turn to a blessing in disguise

The son was pleasantly surprised when he saw his father singing at the ceremony and this event changed the man's life, leading him to do what he loved so much. A very entertaining story.

Thanks for sharing your story with us.

Good day.
